Had Sunday lunch here today and it was spot on. Great portion sizes and tasted amazing with proper gravy!! Also all the staff were so welcoming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting

Best carvery I've had. Nice homely feel and made us feel welcome. Went as a family of 4 and was child friendly.

We have visited this lovely country pub/restaurant a few times and would highly recommend giving it a try, fantastic food, good atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be returning, would like to try the Sunday roast next time😊

The food here was fantastic. We were all particularly impressed with the chips, which you can tell are homemade from how good they are. Would definitely come back when I'm next in the area.

Disabled Review - Visited for Sunday lunch. Easy parking outside the pub. We parked right next to the door. Paving stones rather than gravel up to the front door. Easy access for a wheelchair or walking aids. Space around tables, so good for table wheelchair access too. It was busy, but did have the odd table free after midday rush. Owners are helpful. We had a roast beef dinner. Large portions, so unable to review starter or desert. Good meat selection. Fish and vegetarian option available. Vegetables were fresh and well cooked. Dinner came with cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. They serve nice wine by the glass and there are a few tables for drinking only near the real fire.

Went here on Friday around 2 with some friends for a late lunch and we were not disappointed the pub was beautiful really clean and with some really quirky artwork.We ordered food which although it took a while to arrive (there was a few of us) it was great. We all had something different but we were all happy with what we had.Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

First class lunch here, today I had gammon with egg pineapple homemade chips and veg. My husband had Stilton chicken,also very good. We have dined here several times and would highly recommend. Very friendly front of house staff, lovely pub, contemporary decor. Serves full menu all day which is very convenient.

The food was good! Lovely waiter service. Need to think about vegans and people with dairy intolerance. Can only add to their popularity as an eating place.

Good beer, great food and very friendly staff.
