Taylor's Fine Dining in Newark and Sherwood

What a fabulous restaurant. The tasting menu is sublime. We chose to have the wine flight which was superb. I am so looking forward to returning.

Excellent food and overall experience. They adjusted the menu to my dietary requirements and I loved the entire taster menu. Very creative and innovative! The white chocolate with cucumber (apologies if not quoted correctly) was AMAZING! All the staff were very attentive, friendly and knowledge. I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back. Thank you.

Staff and experience were spot on, absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately some other guests lied about their issues rather than raise them with us and hopefully one day they'll get what's coming to them and their superior attitude will finally be found out, but I doubt it as they seem to think they're superior, but are in fact helmets.

Stunning Tasting Menu at theBest Restaurant in NewarkWow! This was a real lunch time treat.This is real Fine Dining😋From the start with the Bread Platter you know it's going to be something special.Followed by the Lobster with freshSquid ink pasta.Not going to list it all as there is a pic of the menu for you to drool over.😃The star of the show was the Rump Steak with Ox Tail, Parsnip and Beetroot.At the end of the meal you get Petit Fours with tea included.We feel at £60 for a tasting menu as good as this it's great value.The service and food was outstanding.We Sat on one of their Chef's table so you can see all the dishes being created.They also have a lovely cosy cellar area ideal for private dining.How is this restaurant not listed in themichelin guide ?Review helpful please like 👍 follow

Fantastic Dining Experience!First time here tried the Evening menu, absolute explosion of flavours on the pallet.There wasn't a single thing we didn't like, exceptional culinary skills going on in this restaurant.The service is very very good, the atmosphere is just right, but the food Blow's your socks off its like going to a Michelin star restaurant.At £70 per head you'll probably think it's steep but it's worth every penny and it is deceiving aswell! It will fill you up.We will be returning probably once a month to see what other menus they produce.Well done to all staff at Taylor's you've done an amazing job! Whatever catering team you have please keep them! They are bloody amazing.

Another wonderful meal. This place deserves a Michelin star. The standard is higher than many Michelin starred restaurants we have dined at. Perfectly cooked high quality ingredients. An absolute delight.

The dining experience was excellent. Not overly stuffy but warm and welcoming. Each course was well presented and the ingredients explained. We were there for nearly 3 hours and each and every dish was superb. The perfect romantic meal.

Exquisite food the bread and butters were amazing. The cheddar and pineapple hedgehog was out of this world and as someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I finished all of my deserts. The chocolate, summer berries and radish desert was mind blowing.The owner was lovely. Made a big effort to speak to us and treated his chefs brilliantly. Was so nice watching him coach them and give them feedback... but also joke with them and he always had a smile on his face. He seemed like a great person.Fantastic restaurant.

Great food, fantastic front of house staff, this restaurant is just what newark needs. So good, I booked again while I was there!!!Edit: went again and had a lovely meal with four of us this time. Still fantastic food and great front of house. Photos from second meal
