Nice enough but nothing special. Parking extremely limited. Charged for an extra drink which I didn’t have!

Food is always great - Delivery is always horrendous! Last few times we’ve had delivery from here it’s been 30 mins + Late. If your eating from here, then it’s best to go into the restaurant and eat and not order a delivery.

Me and my partner went for a meal at the Bridge and Bayleaf, Gunthorpe the meal itself tasted fine but my partner found a piece of metal about the size and shape of a large opened staple, I showed this to the owner and they obviously replaced the meal and said it came out of the rice cleaner, at the end of the meal we got the bill and were surprised there was no reduction to the overall cost of the meal considering our dining experience had been totally ruined, when I asked them about this they reluctantly took off half the price of my partner’s curry consisting of £8 from the £65 bill. I feel this could have been handled a lot better, considering what could have happened if she had swallowed the wire.

Moored our boat a hundred yards or so away so a takeaway it had to be for us and our friends (hello Penny and Andy !!)First class food and generous portions. We were all more than impressed. Criticism? Well, maybe the potato pieces were a little large but hey, if that's all I can find to whinge about they are doing pretty well. Happy to give 5 stars !

Good food, good location, great friendly service from a couple of very attentive folks. Slightly confused by the "who does what" and therefore who to ask for food and drinks orders.Overall everyone really enjoyed their meal and it was good to see the business busy but being sensible.

After a really difficult week we decided to go out for a meal. We hadn't been to the bridge and bay leaf for more than 5 years and thought we'd give it a go.Right from the moment you walked in the service was warm and welcoming and continued right to the end.The food didn't disappoint either - and they wrapped up our leftovers for us to take away.It was so delightful to finish off our meal on the terrace drinking our mango drink. It's certainly not going to be 5 years til we go again.
