Had a good selection of prepared gf sandwiches plus crisps and a good selection of prepaked gf cakes and freshly baked gf cake. Makes a pleasant change to have a selection without having to ask what they've got n a selection of cakes that isn't just gf chocolate brownie

Really disappointed. I love this village, and the craft centre. However in most categories, this cafe failed to meet satisfactory. Customer service = less than friendly (the lady who served us). Food = good price but expensive for the lack of taste and poor quality (is it real cheese?). Packaging = TERRIBLE. The cafe is based beside Sherwood Forest. And yet, they have styrofoam packaging, plastic cutlery, plastic bags? Really? An eyesore to see overflowing the top of the outside bin, never mind on benches around the forest! Is it really that difficult to wash the cutlery and plates like you would normally? And if you do offer takeaways, there are SO MANY alternatives to plastic and styrofoam. And why not brown paper bags? Not only better for the environment but more in-line with the other facilities at the centre (Simpley Natural - very eco-friendly). I know there is a pandemic against humanity. But have you thought about the fight against climate change? Get with the times. Will not be returning.

This is a cosy little cafe in the craft centre at Edwinstowe in Sherwood Forest. All the food is cooked as required and is very palatable. The menu is small but perfectly adequate and always served with a friendly smile from the girls who keep this lovely establishment going . Delicious scones and cakes are home-made and are very moreish. Prices are very reasonable and it makes a very welcome sit-down for a while when browsing round the various units in the craft centre.

Visited today with the family, My wife went to the counter and placed the order. When the food arrived my scampi was missing and was missed off the order, simple mistake. But when I finally resolved that issue and recieved my lunch once everyone else had finnished. I opened the tartar sauce and it was a snot green and over a year out of date!! I asked for some more and that was 8 months out of date,.Not very good when they advertise whitby scampi, that may I add was cremated.Bad experience wouldnt recommended.

after visiting the new visitor centre and cafe i can say with confidence what a complete waste of public money, the building is dull, the food if you can call it food is pathetic the coffee was slightly worm, the cafe area was uninviting, cold, uninteresting. How can anyone have agreed to pay 5 million pounds for this, the council should be ashamed of themselves. I have to give it one star as it won't let me give it minus 10. Bring back the old visitor centre please.

Very nice cafe with good food and service. Just across the street from the Sherwood Visitors Centre which gives access to Sherwood Forest - a great place for a walk and visit to the Major Oak.

·

Always friendly staff, food very good and cooked to order. Lovely and clean. Usually call for coffee and Food when we've had a long walk round Sherwood Forest. Cheese scones are the best I've ever tasted.

2018 was our 1st visit for many years, since then we've been quite a few times and also the Arts and Craft Centre, Excellent place to visit with The Famous Oak tree from the days of Robin Hood.

·

Myself and my 2yr old daughter, visit this place at least twice a month. Staff can't do enough for you, food is always nice with plenty of choice. We love it here!!
