Nice place, food is good and also lot of beers

Popped in on a Thursday afternoon - three adults, two small children and a dog - and had a lovely experience. Hadn't realised in advance that it was "bike night," with the place getting steadily more busy with a very friendly crowd. Such a nice atmosphere.We were very pleased with the quality, value and portion sizes of the food we ordered. Children very happy with their choices too. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend, will return. Thank you very much!

Went yesterday for Mothers day, got there and was told no roast dinners left. We ordered food from main menu all 3 meals were over cooked and dry. And it took and hour between starters and mains. My son in law spent over £70 on food and was given £20 of the bill for food we couldn't eat disgusting

Lovely country pub. Nice selection of ales and great menu. The pie and fish and chips were both delicious. Really good quality produce and friendly staff 👌

I went with the family on a Saturday dinner time and i was very impressed. Lovely surroundings, good beer, great food at very fair prices and friendly staff. We will likely go again regularly if we constantly get the same experience.

As you can see the food was bad, and we waited 2 hours for it and were insulted by staff when we complained about the wait. Would not recommend to anyone, particularly large parties (there were 34 of us). Had we not been part of a large group we would have left. I appreciate they have good reviews for small groups on here but would definitely not recommend booking a party or function. They are not equipped to deal with it. Our special occasion was anything but. Poor management and very disappointing experience 😕

Excellent, great food and absolutely excellent ale, first outing there and there will be many more to come as I will be moving into the area later this year 👍👍
