the dolphin fish bar in Newark and Sherwood

Getting very lazy now been 2 time this week and the fish has been sat for hours it’s so dry it can’t be eaten like cardboard

Food was amazing, staff were also super helpful checking ingredients for allergies

Since we discovered the Dolphin Fish Bar we always make a point of visiting whenever we are in the area. Perfect chips and everything you could want to go with them.

This was my first visit. The fish and chips were delicious. It's been a long time since I had such a tasty fish and chips meal. Plus it was freshly done so retained its heat on my journey home. The premises were extremely clean too.

Sometimes ok but a high chance chips will only just be cooked and you end up with a pile of mush for chips. Happened on many occasions now and will avoid in future.

Good food but only problem is they don't enforce covid regs and people walk in no face covering and they still serve them despite the sign by the door saying masks must be worn. Not good

I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU to all the staff. Tonight our family had a fish supper and it was perfection as normal. In this dark time it's the small things that you miss and I know that a lot in Ollerton really appreciate what you are doing. You put a very satisfied smile on all our faces tonight 😊😊😊😊

Haven’t had fish and chips in forever, wow haddock, chips and mushy peas £8:50. Fish was twice the size of a dinner plate, massive portion of chips and mushy peas. Cooked just right really worth a trip!!

Top quality food here. Best fish shop for miles!! Chips are always tasty and the chicken tikka meat is pukka! Never had a bad meal yet. Can sometimes be a little wait and the girls can repeat the same questions somtimes when its busy but I don't mind when the foods this good. Keep up the good work :)

Just been in twenty minutes ago. Brilliant lads serving.very polite. I paid for a large bag and the amount of chips was huge. I had to ask him to stop filling the bag up! The other chap reached into the till and gave me some money back. Now that's service for you. Brilliant. I can highly recommend.Chips were nice too and curry sauce just like it used to be from years ago.
