The Full Moon in Newark and Sherwood

Lovely cosy pub, great food, welcoming atmosphere. The food is always good, the outside is pretty although the children's play equipment is not looking very healthy. Beautiful village and the land lady is lovely and very hard work. One of my favourite places.

Beautiful in village location, modern decor and a lovely outside area for eating and another outdoor area is a play area. My beef was properly cooked but chewy and not especially tasty. Roasts were a bit overcooked. Gravy was good. Sticky Toffee pudding was very good. Staf very friendly and helpful.

Excellent food, lovely environment. Bit out of the way but worth the drive. Would definitely go back.

Are the *Full Moon Inn* was just fab....if you love the drive out into the countryside to find it so it's a lovely scenic route!!! Great!!! THEN when you get there is fab play area outside just like a Castle my lovely Granddaughters loved it. As soon as they finished their Sunday dinner they went out to play...in the comfort of your vision...and the choice of menus was great too. So simply worthwhile to seek & find the Magical Full Moon Inn....

Absolutely fantastic Sunday Lunch. The beef was perfect and the veg cooked just right. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had for a while. Worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful pub. The food is excellent. Good selection of drinks. Service superb and attentive. With its open fire, it has a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. A special mention to the lunchtime menu. Yum! Thank you.

Food was delicious, well presented. Service was good but did have to wait to pay as the young girl was on her own. Definitely visit again though.
