Food was lovely and friendly staff but Covid safety was poor and it was particularly off putting having another customer vaping nearby while we ate. I didnt think this was still going to be an issue in 2021. Very antisocial.

The Muskham Ferry is my secret pub, hidden away just half a mile from the A1. Always a warm, friendly welcome and the food is first class. But don't tell everyone :-)

Had eaten here years ago on way to Norfolk and recently found our way back there and were looking forward to lunch. There was no one in the bar, had to wait around 5 minutes for drinks order to be taken. Then told we were too late for lunch, had missed cutoff by 8 minutes! People were still eating outside and had their dessert order taken well after we arrived. We would have settled for a basic sandwich, but nothing offered. Lovely setting for a pub, shame can't say the same for customer service!

Lovely setting with the river Trent at the bottom of the garden area. Some of the tables could do with some work to level them off as they are very unsteady to place a drink on or,eat food on it.

A lovely place to visit. A little out of the way, small and right on top of the river.Unfortunately, the building has the feel of being tired compared to some places and the food menu was a little sparse.Upsides are that the quality of food and punt were good. Also, their staff were very accommodating when it came to asking for a little addition to the sandwich we chose.Would visit again.....👍

Really great pub grub and brilliantly kept draught ale, all with a fabulous Riverside garden! Staff were lovely, but the only downside was the wait to be served as we were sat away from the pub and got overlooked a couple of times. On the plus side they also had blankets washed after every use, so perfect for when the wind got up a bit!

Little gem just off the A1. Good choice if beer and very generous portions of food. Best if all, walk ins are allowed during the pandemic.

Just had 2 great meals at Muskham Ferry pub and highly recommend a visit. The pub serves real ale's too. I should have taken pictures of the food, but the floodwater of the Trent was too big to ignore. Great place to visit on a sunny day and sit outside.

Our favourite stop on the A1. Exactly halfway between London and Whitby. Food basic pub and basic pub grub (hence four not five stars...would have given four and a half if that was an option)...but location just lovely. So tranquil on the river...
