Fantastic experience today to celebrate birthdays and Mother's day 😊. Enjoyed a glass of prosseco with our afternoon tea

The Old Bakery is a lovely building full of history and character. It’s a very popular place so you can often be waiting for a table. However we have been lucky a few times to have breakfast and lunches. The breakfasts use a lovely thick cut bread. The staff are always friendly and give service with a smile.

Quaint cosy popular tea room with old-fashioned feel to it. Exposed beams and chintzy China. I had broccoli & Stilton soup + sourdough bread. Hubby had all day breakfast and daughter had smoked salmon muffin. All food was well presented and served efficiently and hot by the friendly staff. We felt this tea room was very good value and shall visit again.

Took my mum and aunties today. Food is amazing all homemade fresh food. I had the quiche was delicious. I picked some cakes and asked them to arrange them as it was mums birthday. They came up with them with candle and sang HB was amazing

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Dog friendly. Amazing cakes (including Gluten free options). Glad I chose the scone with jam and cream 🍰

Lovely food, very professional, friendly and welcoming... I would highly recommend, also daily home baked cakes and scones, so nice! Took more scones home too

Dear tea room ownerI am a big supporter of local businesses rather then big chains save our high street and all that.But today I am sad to say my self and my family experience bad customer service from start to finish it was shocking. The young lady who served us was fine and we felt sorry for her. but the owner and the blonde bomb waitress need customer training. Cracked cup no side plates. We even witness a couple customers walk out and the sheer manner and attitude to totally in in in unexpectable we will never return

We were greeted by very friendly staff who helped us put our pushchair under the stairs so we could sit upstairs. The menu was very nice, good range of food from all day breakfasts to sandwiches and paninis, to pies and hot meals. The cake selection all looked excellent, although we were too stuffed to try any! It's a very cute building but the tables are quite close together and it started getting busy after we arrived - upstairs is quite cramped with some tables definitely not 2m apart. We enjoyed our visit and hope to go back when it is safer to be close to other people again.

Visited the tea rooms when the weather was scorching, so the outside seating was perfect. It is in a courtyard so sheltered from the wind and a nice little sun trap. The food was nice, and good sized portions. Waiting staff were lovely and really helpful. Only faults were the drinks were a little pricey for what they were and the way management were talking to and treating their staff was not great. Was embarrassing to hear them talk so rudely to their staff, and a bit uncomfortable to witness.

Situated in a historical building this compact tearoom has plenty of character. It has two floors and you have to wait to be seated as it's very busy. The food was very tasty and there was a wide selection on the menu. The food was freshly cooked. Would definitely visit again!
