The Old Green Dragon in Newark and Sherwood

Had a beer here a couple of weeks ago & really enjoyed it so we returned a week later for a meal. Well 5 stars don't seam enough, the staff are great & do make you feel very welcome. We all enjoyed the food & drinks. I had a steak & it was fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit. We will be returning.

Warm welcome. Immediately found us a table for our relative who was in a wheelchair. Really nice food.

Great local pub. I'm part of the local cricket team and this is our regular post match and occasionally mid match haunt. Always great service

Love our village pub! Chloe, Mark and the fab team are very welcoming, the food is delicious- the biggest battered fish I’ve ever seen and they do a cracking tasty steak. If you love real ales, a good Pinot, relaxed atmosphere and great food - their Sunday lunches are amazing, then you’ll love this pub which wins numerous awards. We can’t recommend this pub enough 👌🏼

Nice pub, clean and welcoming. Only called in for a drink but good selection of ales and ciders. Food menu looks good. Dog friendly which is a must.

Was back for another family meal recently and it was a Sunday so could have the traditional Sunday roast.Choice of beef, pork and chicken. I chose beef and it was superb. Good amount of veg and 3 good slices of quality meat.1 of the best Sunday roasts around.
