It was ok, there were a ig group of us, they coped well, I just don't like the idea of ordering a couple of days in advance as sometimes you don't fancy eating what you've already ordered previously! I ordered scampi & chips in the end, & tbh I along with several others thought I'd got a child's portion ! So I was disappointed, the lasagne did look very nice though, also it took ages for the bill to arrive after we'd asked for it, but not the worst place to eat friendly helpful staff

Been here many times over last 18 months and have usual pint and chip butty plus the cracking roasts. Like the village very much and staff are brilliant. Will try a nice evening meal one day as mostly daytime visits to this gem. Now officially our local

Nice cosy pub. Ordered the small roast which was quite large. Pleasant atmosphere apart from one local who kept shouting 'youth' at me, I didn't respond as I'm 38 and thought he was shouting at someone else. Turned out that the front door does swing close and he was asking me, in his own special way, to shut it

The Red Lion prepared buffet post funeral of my amazing partner. Staff v helpful with details of what food they could provide. The buffet was beautiful, fresh and very well laid out. It was perfect. Thank you all

So lovely to see and hear locals having a good natter over a lunchtime pint and to sit at a fabulous table memorial to a domino master. Well done. My 14 year old pooch and I were made very welcome.

Lovely little traditional pub in quiet village location . Went in with the wife and got chatting to a nice couple over beers. How pubs should be!

Lovely old building ,the food was very good and the lady who served us was lovely.
