The Picnic Basket in Newark and Sherwood

Excellent value for money and people who are regulars were in which is always a good sign.

Went in there was told 20 mins for bacon cob, that's fine went back after 20 mins to just find out my food wasn't even started never mind ready to be asked to come back in 5 mins but 20 mins later I'm still being told 2 mins to have the manager or whoever she was with an attitude worst than my kids. Food was disgusting as you could clearly tell it was rushed and if I could give less than a 🌟 I would of. Jokes.

I had a double bacon cheeseburger last week .. and was super surprised by the size I couldn't finish it , the burgers are super thick and the juiciest I've ever had . Had a single today and will order them when ever I want a burger from now on . .use try

Great food. Very pleasant staff. We use this cafe regularly.

Largest and cheapest Breakfast for £6 highly recommend. Delicious too.

I'm not going to tell you how fantastic the pie dinner's are, because there's a good chance I'll never see one again, but let me just say I used to slim 🤣. Big shout out to all at the Picnic Basket, especially the delivery lady who has to battle over all sorts to reach my hovel in the corner!

such a lovely place the staff could charm paint off the walls half cold food probably been sat in the bay marie for at least 3 hours not worth visiting bought a bacon cob if you could call it that on the smallest roll i ever seen in my life stone cold bacon barely even warm not even worth the one star i've given it as what i bought my dogs ate as i weren't eating it who ever told these people they could cook probably died after he ate the food!

Food and service was great.. the bacon was a little undercooked for my liking but... should of stated that when ordering.. other than that bang on. 😁

After doing an invigorating walk in the countryside around Walesby near Ollerton, I was ready for some lunch. I headed for The Picnic Basket and had an all day breakfast. It was excellent and great value. Nice coffee too. Recommended.
