Nice cosy pub. Ordered the small roast which was quite large. Pleasant atmosphere apart from one local who kept shouting 'youth' at me, I didn't respond as I'm 38 and thought he was shouting at someone else. Turned out that the front door does swing close and he was asking me, in his own special way, to shut it

So lovely to see and hear locals having a good natter over a lunchtime pint and to sit at a fabulous table memorial to a domino master. Well done. My 14 year old pooch and I were made very welcome.

Great prices and good choice of beer on draught, big old pub and nice little beer garden outside, I was staying locally in ollerton for work and noticed this nice looking bar across the street from the maypole so thought I'd pop in and sample the local beer which was nice and cheap aswell, very friendly and welcoming being from plymouth I felt very much at home.
