Fantastic pub, excellent decor and tasty good food.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The rest of the group really enjoyed their food - I was unlucky and got a stale bun on my burger ( which otherwise was very nice ), hence the middle rating

Very pleasant staff and excellent service. The layout of tables etc assists in a warm and comfortable feeling. We opted for the lunch menu reasonably priced with approximately 4 choices for each course.

I see alot of people complaining about customer service, this has not been a problem at all.However I do believe that the people who complain are the problems themselves.Witnessed AS SOON as I walked through the door the most sarcastic bloke with a waitress.She's only doing her job. She handled that D*ckhead well 👏Food was fantastic, chef done great with the steak. Lovely quiet atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon.Would come again.

Fantastic. Staff really great and service. Food brilliant, (chief hats off too you). Love the black pudding potato. You made my day.The little things bring to to the top. Cutlery and napkins come to the table in a lovely box, such a nice touch.All in all you should have more stars

Afternoon tea at The Reindeer is awesome, so many different flavours and textures complimenting each other. And lots! We all took doggy bags home with us. And to be honest I don't even have a dog but I did have a great elevenses the next day. The gin in glass teapots is cute and there are several different flavours of tonic to choose from. There's always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommended for a luxurious (but not expensive) treat.

We stoped for dinner on our way to York. The place is very cosy with a lovely atmosphere. There is a fire place where you can relax with a glass of wine and delicious food. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely comeback for deserts!
