Driven by this pub on many occasions we are so glad that we decided to call in. The bar staff extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and more than good value for money, again nothing is too much trouble and if you need to slightly tweak what accompaniments you would like served with your meal they are more than happy to oblige. We are returning again today and will be making a forthcoming booking for Sunday lunch in which I will bringing my dad too.

Booked for a lunchtime meal for 4 to celebrate our son's birthday on the recommendation of a friend. The extra bonus was that the Waggon is dog friendly for a very well-behaved pooch, which made it all the more special. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the menu was impressive - broader than on the website. More importantly, the food and service was first class and well presented. Our son, who knows a bit about good food was very impressed and took away some good ideas. It was alovely occasion and good value too. We look forward to a return visit pretty soon.

Sunday lunch for a family birthday, more than 20 of us. The staff were brilliant, never seen a team that served meals and cleared away as quickly and efficiently. Good food, Good Beer and the staff made for an excellent family occasion.

Fabulous food! I can't begin to describe the mouthgasmic flavours we experienced in a warm setting with friendly, smiley (even masked it reached their eyes) staff. 5*
