"The Bridge Inn is set in the busy village of Ridgeway, which amalgamated with Ford many years ago and now is famous for its fantastic scenic walks. Surrounded by rural lands it is said to be over 700 year old and was once part of Sheer Wood forest, and now is in the Moss Side conservation area. If you fancy going somewhere with a view and food to take breath away, then pop in and see us here at the Bridge Inn. Popped into this country pub after a long walk. The food was fine, nothing special but the setting was very pleasant and most importantly, the service. Our waitress, Jackie, couldn't have been lovelier. That's what really made the experience. And the chap behind the bar was brilliant too.

We were looking for a nice cosy pub for a quiet evening without the kids and were told about the Bridge Inn. What a find. They were very welcoming and it has a lovely cosy country pub feel about. The food is amazing (we had the Turkey dinner which has the best gravy I have ever tasted). We will be definitely coming again and will try bringing the kids as well.

Quaint pub, interior hardly if ever changed over the years, upholstery needs a revamp, nice log fire on winters days

Visited on Monday and Saturday afternoon after walking in the area for a refreshing cool drink. At the time in September/October 2021 its not possible to go inside. We sat in the bear garden to the side but a covered area is available in front of the main building. If the weather is good it's a nice place to end one of the many pleasant walks to be had around this pub. Still look forward to being able to experience the roaring fire this pub has indoors during winter time.

Enjoyed the food here you have to wait a while for the food but it is all freshly cooked and the staff are very accommodating.

Absolutely horrendous . Great for a pint but fo not eat .. I ordered a jacket potato with tuna. Arrived in a polystyrene pot with not even a tiny bit of salad garnish . Plastic knife and fork . Cost £6.00. My Dad and partner ordered a sandwich and chips again polystyrene pot plastic knife and fork and cost £10.00 . It was liking eating food from a market place and not a nice country pub .. Complete RIP off ... will never eat there again. ... The food wasn't great either.. When I asked why no plates waitress said because of covid . Disgusting ..
