This fish shop is the slowest fish shop on the planet, this gets mentioned on numerous occasions but the owner just replys to his reviews with excuse after excuse, get someone to help you serve and stop being a tight wad

Part of the order was missing, ordered via a delivery app so no chance of getting it resolved straight away. They did refund the missing order value.Chips were nice, fish was ok.Large fish and chips wasn’t worth the money, this may have been the way they have to package for delivery drivers however price should reflect that, more specifically I think the large fish and chips had about a cone amount of chips, and not a big piece of fish.Good value for the fish sausage and chips meal deal.This all may be because we ordered through delivery app. Will try again but will pick the order up next time.

Live locally but always phone to pre-order. Freshly cooked and always ready when we arrive. Fish, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. Delicious.

First time I have been to Calow Fish Bar and will definitely be returning! Everything was cooked to order, which while takes a while, the food benefits, and with the little buzzer this means in the current pandemic situation I could sit in my car till it was ready, great idea. The fish was fantastic, light crispy batter, great flavour and not at all greasy. The chips were delicious and the large sized portion was HUGE. Everything in the order was spot on and I look forward to trying a few different things on the menu in future.

The pie was stale, you get 1 star for the chips and cheese, my son was not keen on the batter coating on the nuggets he said was to well done. Burger quality very poor, and your kabab meat was also of poor quality chunky slabs of meat thrown onto a tortilla with no care put into the wrap at all, my suggestion is to at least get a better carving tool, then look at changing your meat suppliers absolutely terrible. Delivery service was spot on.
