We have visited Cat village a few times and today we adopted our very own cat from there as well! Couldn’t recommend enough the people are lovely and so are the cats :)

Rang yesterday to make a booking for today to be told " yes we have 1pm free". Turned up, all in darkness, rang the bell, knocked on the door, waited nearly 20 mins- nothing.I understand emergencies happen- if this was the case but no excuse not to get in touch, you had My name & my number, it takes 2 mins to text me, call me, contact me on messenger, post on your FB page or even a notice in your windows. We weren't the only people there either that were waiting, one even sent you a message whilst we were all stood outside. Complete waste of our time & petrol. Was our first time & will definitely be our last.

An hour went very quickly in the company of dozens of friendly, purring and playful cats. What a wonderful experience! Children didn't want to leave, so we stayed to have pizza. And last time I enjoyed a pizza this much was in Italy... So whether you love cats, or good food, or both - there's this surprising place in the middle of north-east Derbyshire!

Today I went to the cafe, but I saw nobody inside even though the cafe said open. I tried to ring the bell and knock the door, but nobody responded.

Visited for the first time today with my mum and auntie. We were welcomed from the very moment we stepped foot inside, and were led to a lovely room for our afternoon tea which I had booked. Amazing afternoon tea with fabulous cake! A very generous amount which was kindly packed up for us to take home with us as we couldn't finish it between us! We were then taken to the cat room and were greeted by all of the gorgeous cats! Lovely ambience, so relaxing, and the cats were extremely friendly and entertaining! I'll definitely be back! 😀😻🐈

Had a fabulous afternoon tea with the cats. Top quality food and drink and we were looked after very well. Had lots of cuddles from Midnight and her magnificent floofy tail! Mum had cuddles from the lovely Mishkaa and wished she could take her home! A must for cat lovers. Thank you for a great afternoon 😸😸

Such a great little place! The cats are really friendly and clearly love being around people (especially if they can be centre of attention!). The owners are lovely and its obvious they really care about their cats and customers. On top of all that, they do great food too :)

We went in as a treat for the kids.Having recently moved to the area this place caught our eye a few times so after a long day unpacking we thought we would reward good behaviour with a trip to the cat village. The people that run it seemed lovely and did try and get the cats to play a bit etc providing us with a laser pen and cat toys. But the cats were only interested when we had food. We ordered food and drinks for 4 upon arrival which took a while to prepare (not a problem) however to recive a bill at the end with extra half hour charges for all 4 of us felt a bit of a joke as we were eating and were the only customers in there, safe to say we took dessert to go for the kids! I will attach a copy of our bill as it was quite incredible for 2kids sharing a pannini and a meal each for 2 adults + 4 drinks we could have gone to a fancy restaurant and next time we will. Could be fantastic such a shame :( gutted.
