Little Italy in North East Derbyshire

My husband and I went here for the first time, with some friends who have been before.We were warmly greeted on our arrival, in fact, all the staff were very friendly and helpful all of the time.The waiting time for our food was quite acceptable. When our food came it was well presented, hot and very enjoyable.We will certainly be coming here again.

Love this place. We travel down from west Yorkshire to visit here. Great food, staff and atmosphere.

Really lovely restaurant first visit was well impressed with everything. Visited to celebrate partners 60th Birthday. Staff really helpful and pleasant food amazing. Highly recommend

Went with my partner last night for the first time after hearing such good reviews. We will definitely be visiting again. Front of house lady although very busy was friendly and welcoming. Other staff were also friendly and warm. Service was brilliant food was beautifully cooked tasty. See you soon 😁

Cosy restaurant, staff were friendly and always on hand. Didn't have to wait long for meals even though they were busy.The food was tasty and the price reasonable.Only negative is a very limited Vegan menu.Had to ask what the Vegan options were and was then given a piece of A4 paper with just a few options, as opposed to the standard menus that were well presented.

The food was nice but what a shame my 6yr old was told off by the manager for playing with a battery candle on the table (he wasn't being naughty). Also a spilled soft drink was added onto our £150 bill...put a damper on our family meal as it upset my little boy.

Horrendous service by the owner !!!!! Arriving at 8:20pm ready for our table at 8:30pm we were seated at 8:50pm, to order our meal at the bar and not at the table seated, unwelcoming and not the experience of a restaurant I would expect.After being seated the cold aircon was blowing down my neck, asking the owner to kindly turn this off as it’s 3 degrees outside and personally don’t want to eat a meal stone cold! After looking at me and picking the remote to turn the aircon off to then turn back round rudely.Ordering a Calzone, it appeared there was 3 pieces of pepperoni and minimal pieces of ham, I left majority of my meal and I didn’t want to eat dough. The owner asked if everything was ok to which I replied “there’s little meat in what I have ordered” to be told “that’s what you get. It’s a Calzone” rude, ignorant and arrogant is the only way I can describe!! Ordering a Penne Pollo, its what can only be described as a bowl of pasta with small 3 pieces of chicken, not what the menu describes. Totally in rations with the meat being served.After travelling 40 minutes to a restaurant to be served with this kind of service is appalling. The owner should be ashamed that customers are walking out of what looks like a warm, family orientated place is nothing but cold, rude and unwelcoming. Would NOT recommend.

Absolutely fantastic. Top quality food and service can not fault anything. Sunday lunch menu is a bargain with half price pizza and pasta can't wait to go back.

Incredible food. Service was warm, friendly and welcoming. All waiters was attentive and happy to assist. I couldn’t fault my experience. The food was delicious and served piping hot, tasted fresh and authentic. Well done Little Italy! A true gem in Dronfield.
