Great fish n chips

Ordered a big feast special through their online app this morning (foodbooking). It directs you to the app when you click on their website if you Google North Wingfield Fish Bar First time I've noticed it.. Requested it for pick up at 13.30. The food was ready and hot, bang on time. The food was great and the portions were good. Good value for what you get. I'll certainly order in advance using this app again, as Friday afternoon queues can be long when you go somewhere popular.

Gone right downhill won't be going again taken over by some previous owner apparently what they done come back to run it into ground absolutely shocking food and service

Has been taken over by some previous owners and the service and quality are terrible now. Staff are so rude. Food is dry, poor quality and tasteless. The mini fish was hard and 90% batter, almost no fish.Shame, as it was some of the best chippy & service I'd had a couple months ago with the Italian guy and team.

I usually love this chippy especially the Chinese Curry Sauce, the meal I had was mini fish special with Chinese Curry Sauce and it was fine on the day, but the next day I was really sick from the fish and was poorly for 2 days. So I wont be going up there again

Been for fish and chips today and was amazed how he still has staff.The food was ok but the service from the man in charge was not called for.He talks to the staff like dogs and he needs to have a think.Wont be going again because the rudeness to me and his staff.

The person serving was very polite and helpful, then it went downhill. The chips were OK and the fish so so, a bit dry but edible. However, the batter was like soggy, chewy cardboard (yes as a kid I had soggy chewy cardboard ugghh) then I suppose I should have known that when the 'fryer' put the fish back in to warm through. The peas were the brightest, greenest peas I've ever seen in a chip shop and absolutely tasteless. I suppose if you're starving then shop here but if you're looking for a tasty treat look elsewhere, I will be. 2 stars is for the server with a little towards the chips. How it's got 4.6 stars I'll never know.

Been before and thought the meal was very nice. But on the last occasion I was to have fish and chips.While I was eating them I was concerned about a flavour of a taint almost sour flavour to the fish. I thought nothing more but to eat almost all of the it. Well it had been hot weather and it had crossed my mind if at all it was fresh.The next morning is to say left to the imagination. I was in great need of the bathroom..I can't say it's put me off the place but I won't be having much more than chips..
