Always a warm welcome, great beers, fantastic pork scratchings, warm place in the winter, just like a pub should be and with the fantastic and stylish new log cabin outside, plenty of space even on chilly evenings.

We were well looked after, attentive table service even though we were sitting in the garden. Contactless payment or cash made it easy..the pint of Wainwright was so good that I had to have another one.

Cracking pub and a belting pint of Theakston Best. Sat in the beer garden, were served promptly and pleasantly. A bit of idyllic England on a summer's day.

Really great local pub. First time visiting since it reopened and had a lovely warm welcome from Gary and Lucy. We sat in the new wooden hut which is an amazing space! Fantastic service and everything was really well organised. Great drinks as always. Glad to see it back open.

Normally only visit once a year during a camping trip, but this place really deserves credit for the quality of the real ale. Great service during corona measures too... thanks!

Great traditional pub, good choice of beers, friendly helpful staff. Plenty of seating, lots of cosy corners. Popped in while out cycling and had things in my hands so the landlord helped carry the drinks to the table, great guy

Excellent. I can't fault it. Gary and his staff are so welcoming and friendly nothing is too much trouble. My friends and I go mostly on Monday evenings for the quiz night. Great fun and the Sandwiches and pork pie afterwards are amazing.
