Nice friendly pub. Lunch menu was good, food was good and plentiful, staff very polite and eager to please. The cost for four adults and four children was reasonable too. The Timothy Taylor's bitter was superb too. Enjoyable lunchtime experience.Highly recommend

my partner and I went out for a meal here for dinner time and we were not disappointed. We had nachos to start off with which were amazing and our mains were just as tasty! Our server was a lovely girl, all staff very nice and welcoming. Will be returning :)

Stopped off here for a meal for the 1at time.Nice clean place and was was made most welcome by Sara.Our meal was excellent and we'll presented.I had a small matter with my food, and nothing was too much trouble for Sara and it was rectified.They could not have done enough for usWould definitely be returning and would recommend this place.A fair selection of drinks available and reasonably priced.

Nice place with friendly staff. Reasonably priced food, just not great quality. Chicken with a burnt black edge hidden by bbq sauce! Also Seems like chef loves the microwave, Even kids pizzas!

Came for the quiz night and it was a brilliant experience! Nothing but laughs and the team behind the bar were nothing short of brilliant! Definitely somewhere I'll be returning to in the future!

I went for a meal with my family to celebrate my nephew's birthday. I ordered the one meal that was vegetarian and gluten free, which was sweet potato and chickpea curry. I had asked for the spiced salmon salad but it was unavailable. The curry was quite runny, which I didn't really like. It had jalapeno pepper floating in it, which it really shouldn't have, as it was supposed to be a mildly spiced curry. I burned my mouth on a pepper ring before I'd realised what it was. The poppadom had a naan bread on the top of it, which I scooped up quickly and handed to the waitress (along with the comment that the meal was supposed to be gluten free and had been ordered from the gluten free menu!) much to her astonishment! The curry did actually taste quite nice once mixed with the rice but I do miss the days when a curry arrived in the centre of a ring of rice instead of in a separate dish, and had a bit of substance to it! We had quite a wait for our meals, but given that the food here is freshly prepared to order, this was to be expected and should be factored in when making a booking. Don't book a late table if you're in a hurry; allow about an extra half an hour for the prep time and be prepared for a relaxed dining experience. I gave 4 stars for this review as, even though the curry was a bit disappointing because it wasn't to my personal taste, the restaurant was well managed even though it was quite a busy period, the staff were really good and the meals for the rest of my family were excellent. The premises were clean and free of clutter and the tables were positioned in accordance with the current Covid rules. We were seated promptly on arrival and a waitress came to take our drinks order. We had time for a nice catch up chat while waiting for our meals and it was good that the background music being played was properly IN the background so that we didn't have to shout to be heard above it. On the whole, our visit was a positive one so I recommend this as a good restaurant for a nice meal with family or friends. Just remember to book your reservation allowing for the preparation time and you won't go far wrong here.

Laura and the team are all lovely, we come here regularly and love the atmosphere. The pub itself is lovely and you can’t beat the view! Highly recommend you visit. 😊

One of my favourite pubs in the world!Great view next to the lake and even better now after renovation and there is proper beer garde en with covering and heating. Serves all pub classics at very reasonable price :)

I don't normally leave reviews but felt like this place deserved it. One of the nicest Sunday dinners I've ever had, lamb shank literally fell off the bone. Sat next to a great view of the pond and all at a great price. I've come here twice for food and each time it's been ridiculously good, not just pub food but top quality restaurant food. Will definitely come back!
