Twin Oaks Hotel Brasserie in North East Derbyshire

We came to the hotel to celebrate my parents diamond wedding anniversary on Sunday as a family get together. . We had a lovely carvery and the service we received from Fin and Summer was fantastic they were very attentive with all they did. Once again thankyou for a nice night. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Lovely place to stay, massive bed and super friendly staff. The suite we stopped in had its own terrace with chairs outside and a beautiful bathroom. Highly recommend a stay here. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely atmosphere and food of all kinds were available.

Went for Carvery today, which was lovely by the way. What let this hotel down is extremely poor service, most staff seemed more interested in chatting at reception. Catalogue of silly errors from the staff that resulted in us deciding not to return. Train your staff more efficiently & split the area's. Have a senior team member on the floor, not 2 stuck in reception. Communication was the main let down, table not checked, had to ask for dessert menu several times, waited over 20 minutes for 2 Eton Messes, eventually received 2 flavoured ice creams with some squirty cream & marshmallows on top. No meringue or strawberry, mentioned this upon leaving to be told oh very odd, still charged £5.95 each though. Had a normal carvery & a small carvery, was charged for 2 large. I could go on but you get the idea. Shame really cause carvery & chef was lovely, just let down by others

We had our wedding blessing at twin oaks it was fantastic from start to finishWe cannot thank kayleigh, Mark and the staff enough, all our requests were met, our wedding was beautiful, it was a beautiful setting, food , atmosphere and surroundings in the marquee.The food was delicious and all our guests commented on this.guestscommented on this

What a total disappointment our Christmas Dinner was. The prawn cocktail starter was nice but the dinner was terrible. Meat good, roast potatoes looked and tasted like they had been cooked the day before and then reheated to a black soft warm mess, vegetables bland, stuffing balls rock hard. The supposedly sticky toffee pudding was NOT sticky toffee pudding, no dates just sponge with a terrible tasting syrup on the top. Change it for a Christmas pudding which was luke warm and like rubber. Oh dear what a disappointment we all felt. .Sorry you could have made more effort for the money we paid forChristmas day.

Fantastic hotel. Used to be a row of terrace houses that have been converted. We stayed in a suite. It included an outside patio, a small lounge and had a bath in the bathroom with a shower over. The bed was a super king size and so so comfortable. Very clean. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely little bar with a good selection of spirits. They cover all sizes of appetite at breakfast as well from a light bite through to a huge breakfast fry up. The quality of the products is second to non. In the evening we had a light bite. My home made tomato soup was the best I have ever had and my husband had the mushrooms. They were classed as starters however they were a descent size and were very tasty. Considering the hotel is only a field away from the M1 you couldn't hear it at night at all and only just hear it during the day inside. So definitely well worth staying. Thank you so much.

First time here for a very long time. Pre ordered Xmas luncheon menu at a very reasonable price and was very impressed with everything we were served. Everything piping hot and well presented. Three courses plus coffee and mince pies. Could not fault anything and will certainly go back and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed for 2 days. Excellent rooms and staff were so friendly especially Victoria and Mary. We had a very good experience. I will definitely recommend this hotel. Amazing if you are staying with family. Very safe and great hospitality. Victoria helped us to sort few things. What a lovely person she is. Mary was too friendly and served us everything we need during our breakfast. I will come back again. Thank you Victoria and Mary for great hospitality.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Twin Oaks Hotel yesterday and it was the best day of our lives. Kayleigh and the staff at the hotel made it so special for us and always made sure we had what we needed from the start. They were very welcoming and professional. The facilities were amazing and the food was of great quality. Thank you for everything you have all done for us to make our day so perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding celebration.

I spent a few nights here in early August while a family member was in Chesterfield hospital.The staff could not have been nicer. Every single one was polite and couldn't do more to help.The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.The food was excellent with the meals in the bistro at night being good quality and good value. The Sunday carvery was also excellent. There was a good choice for breakfast too from a simple breakfast to a full English. The poached eggs with avocado on toasted crumpets were delicious.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area.
