Carre Arms Hotel and Restaurant in North Kesteven

I have been passing this hotel for 2 years and not actually visited until today. I was immediately impressed with the beautiful interior which is immaculate. There are so many gorgeous places to sit and eat. It's so smart there yet I was made to feel welcome even in my gardening clothes. The showstopper though was the huge bright conservatory, filled with tropical plants which really made me feel like I was on holiday somewhere abroad. It's so relaxing there! The plants also create privacy, so you really feel like you're the only ones there. I met the delightful owners who showed me round and explained the history of the place. The staff are smartly dressed, friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and the sandwiches which came would have fed four people easily instead of two Everything was home made and the portions are huge. It is inexpensive too. I am looking forward to returning very much.

My brother and I enjoyed a superb lunch on Thursday. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. Don't miss out on this great place 👏

Went along for Sunday lunch today - the food was delicious, all of the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. We will certainly be going back again! Highly recommended.

This is an excellent restaurant. The menu is varied and imaginative. The food is superb. The staff are friendly, efficient and very courteous.

The place has got more plastic around the bar than a bank .Plus staff wearing masks. Felt like I was part of some sort of experiment . Very strange. However staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone enjoying looking at people through perspec!!

Had an excellent lunch here today, was like stepping back in time, food was tasty and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend the liver and mushroom stroganoff, very tasty

A very warm welcome, staff were very helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Food was superb,all tasted home-cooked, and a wide variety on the menu. We dined in the dining room the first evening and were part of a wedding group the following day. Both meals were fantastic, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family .

We have just had the most perfect wedding here. Lisa and all her staff have gone above and beyond in everything, amazing venue, outstanding food, super comfortable accommodation. All our guests at the wedding have gone away with nothing but superb things to say about the weekend. Thank you to everyone at the Carre Arms for making our special day extraordinary and amazing.

Great place. Food is superb, proper home cooked meals, good sized portions. Rooms clean. Service is great. Staff/owners very pleasant and nothing ever seems to be a problem. I travel all over the East & West Midlands throughout the month and always stay at the same places (three or four different spots) the Carre Arms is always a firm favourite.
