Worst I've had frozen veg peices and looked abysmal when opened and even our garbage disposal unit won't even eat it. Chips must be from tesco, I've seen chinese people buying them cheap ones in bulk.

Had a meal for four as Jade Palace was closed. Very pleasantly surprised and had a great meal. Lots of flavour and everything cooked perfectly. Beef in black bean sauce was superb as were the satay chicken skewers. Would definitely recommend.

I have never had a bad meal from Golden Phoenix. Having tried all of the local Chinese Takeaways many times, they all have good and bad days, but Golden Phoenix has been consistent, which is what I like and is a quality that is hard to find.Update August 2013: Everywhere has its off days it seems? I have deducted a star.
