Great fish and chips and gluten free on a Monday all ways good and the staff are amazing

Not enough food cooked for a lunch time .nice food thou .

My daughter had a yen for fish and chips, dropped into the Bracebridge Heath fish bar and bought back piping hot fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was really meaty and tasty, the chips were done to a turn and the peas were, well mushy!!! All very good.

Chicken was dry and was celebrating its 2nd birthday

Spot on. Covid secure. Friendly. Quick. Nice decent portion. Tasty and not greasy. Decent mushy peas and curry sauce to boot.

My first and last experience of this restaurant was terrible. The restaurant was clearly under staffed which I completely understood and I had no problem waiting in line for my food. The reason I will never return is due to the way the staff were treated, I was stood in the que and could hear the manager or supervisor yelling insults and swearing at his team, who were clearly trying to do their best.He then proceeded to chuck his phone across the room whilst yelling at the staff, when I went in to place my order he then proceeded to punch through the hot cabinet. I asked the member of staff if she was OK, canceled my order and left. I would like to stress my issue is not with the staff members who all were clearly working hard in a horrendous environment.

Nice chips but terrible kebab. Cold, chunky, undercooked and tasteless. So bad I now feel sorry for my bin where I’ve had no choice but to throw it.

Fish. Lovely. Chips lovely. Mushy peas. Not that great. Very dark green and bland (just mine and my partners personal opinions). But wont stop us going there as the rest of the food is lovely.

Fairly priced, reasonable selection and somewhat quick service.On Monday evenings from 4:30pm onward they provide a gluten free option for both batter and vinegar, the staff I've spoken to are both friendly and allergy aware.Food wasn't too greasy and didn't taste like it had been sat in the oil all day like some other places, portions are quite large too.Only downside is the waiting area is a little small but this is to make room for eat in area for the lunch crowd.
