Where to start... We made a small order that was due to be delivered at 18:50. At 19:25 I called the restaurant to get an update. I was told the driver was running late but was on his way, 15 mins or so. At 20:00, still nothing. I rang again and the person was very confused and couldn't find our order. Apparently the driver forgot to collect our order so they prepared a new one and will be another 15 mins (clearly didn't even put our order through). The food arrived at 20:50, 2 hours later than expected. Now to the food.... salt and pepper chips - cold, soggy with no flavour. Chow mein - cold, zero soy sauce and no flavour. Chilli beef - cold and bland. Seaweed - not worth £4 odd. Satay sauce - bland. After all of this, we were half expecting maybe some sort of gratitude, larger portions or something. Absolutely nothing.I've seen a couple of comments from Chinese customers, "a taste from home". Well I'm not surprised you left home if that's what home tastes like.Save your money, or collect if you do want to waste your money.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for traditional Chinese food. Freshly made dumplings are really tasty.The staff were friendly and attentive. As others have pointed out, the place has changed owners and with all of the challenges that restaurants have had over the last two years I wanted to write this to support them and the great food.

First order from China Garden today. Food arrived on time and was hot. Sadly the food was awful. The beef curry was bland, chicken balls tasted like they had been cooked from frozen. Won't be ordering again or recommending to anyone.

Short: The food is good!Full: the decor is er… lets say in need of updating by a fair bit. I think its changed hands recently and not been updated. No atmosphere to the place at all BUT its one of the best Chinese’s iv been to in a long time with a traditional menu as well as the uk faves. They may not be used to people eating in but give it a go

We tried this restaurant on our day out in Lincoln with my friend and we absolutely loved it!! The food was so delicious and my friend, who tried Chinese restaurant for the first time, couldn’t stopped praising it and finished all the food we ordered. People who worked there were also so friendly and helpful. It was a pity that we didn’t live there otherwise we would definitely visit it more often.

This restaurant is amazing.On entering we were a bit put off by the dated decor and dirty cream carpet.As we had booked a table we didn't want to be rude so decided we would try a starter and leave.Boy am I glad we stayed.The chicken satay was the best I have ever tasted,and I have tasted a lot.Salt n pepper chicken wings were delicious,as was the shredded salt n pepper chicken.We stayed for main course,wow wow wow.Huge portions,delicious and perfect.Staff were very friendly and helpful,even though English wasn't great.Never judge a a book by a cover again.Will be back.

Could these guys be any cheaper? £32 order, dont even give you free prawn crackersFood absolutely swimming in sauce tooWont be back

Food was dry and over-salted to cover a lack of flavour. Wouldn’t recommend

Best authentic Chinese food in Lincoln I highly recommend this restaurant for a great sit down meal lovely presentation and large portions their mixed seafood And crispy noodles are to die for

Food was cold even though it was early, part of our order missing refused to redeliver saying that they were too busy not really my problem when the item missing was my children’s dinner.first and last time I will order from here
