Very friendly. We were on a cycle ride and came across this pub. We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed a nice meal and good beer here. We recommend it.

What a gem of a pub! Jeremy & Sally were great hosts , friendly locals ( thank you to the great couple who gave us a lift home in the rain!) and we both enjoyed a superb Sunday roast. A heavy period of rain meant we were “rained-in” for longer than intended, but no hardship with Bass Ale on tap , will definitely return!
