Visited today, absolutely shocking service, slow, no enthusiasm, felt like we were in the way, no help to clean tables, back garden uninviting and no help whatsoever, absolutely appalling. This is our first (and last) visit, I am amazed your still in business 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Gail and I had a lovely lunch here with two lovely ladles in attendance who made us feel very welcome, jacket potatoes were excellent as was the brownie which we had to take home as we were too full. Bonus there is parking at the rear. Keep up the good work

Thank you for such a lovely lunch and fantastic service. You went above and beyond, providing colouring books and pencils for my 2 year old, as well as a little treat for her when she bumped her face. Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness and kindness. See you again soon!

Very quiet when we walked in, that should have been the sign.Dead flies on tables (near the windows) with mucky stained tablecloths on most. Two radios playing at the same time which was headache material. Food overpriced for cheap ingredients, ordered scampi and it was mushy and wet. Waitress was polite and friendly and offered sauces but was around 30 mins waiting and we had nearly finished our meal by the time the sauces had arrived. Waiting time in general was ridiculously long. Was also overcharged and had to get a partial refund!Staff are very polite but unfortunately will not be coming here again.

We visited here today for lunch with friends. Cold atmosphere, and the young girl who served us looked very fed up. We ordered drinks first, and a few minutes later she hurriedly asked us if we were ready to order yet, as though we were an inconvenience ! We ordered 4 baguettes, which arrived with a little portion of lettuce and no chips or crisps, as this was extra ! Along with this, we had 2 fruit juices, 1 coffee and a very small glass of wine. This came to £45.90 ! Perhaps we paid more to view the dead flies and bees that were in the window ! Will not be coming back here again and will be giving this place a miss from now on.

Popped in after walking part of the Viking way after noticing it was open. Sat outside in a really sheltered sunny spot. The server was really welcoming. Explained the food options, took our order and was back quickly with our drinks. Sharing platter of seafood, brie wedges and garlic bread arrived soon after. The food was excellent, even better, there was a "propper" white table cloth put on the table with the menus. First meal out since last October but thoroughly enjoyable. Server was excellent, did not catch her name but is a real asset. The food a pint and a large wine came to £20, so very reasonable. Well done Macy's.

Love this place. Took advantage of the current "Eat out to help out" offer. The food was excellent and good value even without the offer. The service was good. We sat inside but they do have a nice garden with tables that dinners can use. Even managed to park right outside. I will definitely be going again.
