Oscar's Black and White restaurant in North Kesteven

Great pub for couples and groups, six real ales with two of my favourites, Woodfords Wherry and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Great pizzas we had. Half goats cheese and green pesto and brie and steak, so large we finished for breakfast.

Pleasant and friendly staff. Clean facilities. The decor was OK although a little dated. Drinks reasonably priced but the wine selection was not great. The place aas busy when we were in but it wasn't loud and noisy. We ordered one of the pizzas which tasted really good but could have done with another couple of minutes in the oven as the base was a little undercooked. Get some better wines in and cook your pizza a little longer and it would be an easy 5 stars. All in all a good place to meet friends and have a pleasant evening.

Sadly, I think the “fine dining experience” promised by the “new chef” was a publicity stunt. Maybe he created the menu but it’s definitely lacking. And to call it affordable is laughable. I’ve paid less for real fine dining. Sorry but I’d consider this false advertising. Good service is the only reason for the second star.

Great place to catch up with friends have a drink and a great share pizza. And its dog friendly, Well behave ones anyway.

Absolutely lovely place. Fine and friendly service. Amazing pizza. Dog friendly. Lush atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet, solitary ponder, as well as a get together with friends. Highly recommend. ❤️

We really enjoyed our meal at Oscar's! They were introducing their new canape menu and we had one of everything. Each one was better than the next. For us the best were the Ox Cheek, the salmon, soup. We also enjoyed being able to split the pizzas into 2 choices. We had the veggie and the Manzo. Both were very good. We're looking forward to returning!

Really impressed! Been waiting ages to try their famous pizzas and finally got the chance this weekend. Rung up to book a table which was a breeze. Had a wheelchair user with us, and we arrived to find the ramp set up so we could get in. Food was fantastic as was service. The pizza definitely lived up to the hype! 1 pizza and a couple of sides fed a family of 5. Try the Truffle Parmesan Fries! Got ready to leave and didn't even have to ask - the ramp was out again ready for us to get out. We'll definitely be back!
