Pack horse inn in North Kesteven

After 2 recent visits here I feel that the pub has let itself down with regard to the food. Last time the meals were cold. This time the chicken in the curry was either warm or cold and the naan bread tasted a bit on the funny side - as though it was going off but not yet mouldy. My partner wanted chips but there were none and technical issues meant that the menu was very limited. All in all, very disappointing again!

Typical WSP, service was great, food met expectations and the location was good. Small town so parking was in the local Tesco's, 3 hours free...

Friends outing and went for lunch. Good prices nice place good and food good plus drink so couldn't complain at all. Don't know if there is parking as we were on foot

Breakfast was served quickly and unlimited teas was a bonus. Tables were clean and staff were friendly

Usual Wetherspoons fayre, decent enough food and good beers at an excellent price. Easy ordering on app and fast, friendly service.

Unfortunately,we found that 6th.form students seemed to take up a lot of space and tables at lunchtime . For the most part, very few ordered even a hot drink, there were four to six at each table, and they were noisy. As one group left, another filed in, to sit around and discuss loudly, just to be in a warm space for their free time.As we were there for cofffes, then lunch, it was not really a relaxing atmosphere, and we sat at the one remaining table,entirely due to the students filling up the others.

Had a meal here today. Served quickly.Very polite staffTables all clean and social distanced. Some screen up to aid distancing.Only gripe and this isn't the establishment fault is teens from school come here making it a little loud and busyDefinitely recommend to family's and friends wanting a meal and a drink

You know what to expect already, its your typical wetherspoons. Proper choice of drinks, easy food options and app ordering to the table if in large groups. Bang on.

The service was so-so (slow, disinterested staff), the "food" was awful - a step above inedible. We ordered two different burgers, they arrived dry, flavourless, and barely noticeable differences.

Two family meals eaten in this pub during our recent trip to UK! Loved the space , the food was just right for young families and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean and well maintained and child friendly! Thank you to all the team at Sleaford.
