Star and Garter in North Kesteven

Nothing is too much trouble for this family run hotel. The bar stocks a great range of beers and non alcoholic drinks too.

Good pub grub, friendly staff& customers, nice and bigB&B rooms, plenty of parking

Very good breakfast both mornings. Spacious twin room with large bathroom and very comfy beds. Landlord and staff very friendly. Will definately stay again and recommend to others.

We were just looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights. This fitted the bill. We had a good nights sleep and were well fed both in the evening and at breakfast where there was no menu - they just asked what you wanted. The pub had a good friendly family atmosphere and Butch was a very helpful host. Don't come here looking for luxury but we enjoyed our stay and would go back

Butch runs a solid pub and rooms. He's a very friendly character who treats all alike.Food is fairly basic but well cooked, portions are generous.Decor is again fairly basic.If you're after a lasagne or scampi and chips type of meal with no fuss, this is ideal. Anything more elaborate such as unbattered fish or salads, then look elsewhere.The prices are very reasonable.

Stayed here for a weekend, great family run pub , old school, breakfast is second to none, even if visiting Lincoln don't rule out this place to stay . The beds were comfortable and the on suite bathroom/ shower huge. The landlord is fantastic and his family are very friendly and welcoming

Pub accommodation clean large twin room with large bathroom. Great breakfast, friendly landlord and staff. Local people both young and old friendly. Wish I had taken my guitar for a sing song. Maybe next time

Lovely pub, very nice landlord who cooked us an excellent breakfast. Room was clean tidy with all we required. Good service by the bar staff on a busy Saturday night. Nice village to stay in. Will definitely return.
