The Centurion in North Kesteven

Had lunch for two outside .Saturday. staff very attentive and polite. Enjoyed sea bass, cooked and presented beautifully. Everything was clean and tidy. Dog friendly outside. Meal prices very competitive. Would I go again, yes.

Going back to a pub that was my local for many years until moving out of the area for a family meal. Really enjoyed it, loved the decor & ambiance, the service was very good, very friendly & helpful when needed. The food, three of us had 'Posh Fish & Chips' & one of us had the Sea Bass fillets was superb, hot fresh & very tasty. I had a pint of 'Timothy Taylors' to wash it down & it was both superbly kept & presented.Many thanks to Bill & his team.

Always had a good meal at the Centurion. The staff are always pleasant and the drinks are at an acceptable price. The inside and outside are well maintained so keep going back.

This pub has been my local for the past 18 months, and every time I have gone I have always felt in a comfortable social environment. The staff are extremely friendly and family-like, the tables, toilets and bar area is always kept clean, and the other patrons are always just as well-mannered and friendly.It's a chain pub so you should have an idea of what to expect in terms of experience, and the food on offer has been great for the price in my experience. My only small gripe is that regular pints are a little on the expensive side, but that doesn't put me off considering everything else.They adhered really well to social distancing guidelines over the course of the pandemic and I have always felt safe whenever I have been here. If I move in the future, I'll be a little gutted to not have this as my local anymore.

Had lunch here today. Always have the ham, eggs, chips and salad with a pint of Doombar and a large Chardonnay. Excellent value at £21+. Recently been refurbished to a very high standard, giving a nice ambience.

Went for a meal tonight. First impressions on entry place was lovely. Sat at table that was reserved for us and heard a very Fowled mouth woman using the f word in her sentences and a man who was in the group was just as bad. We moved tables to the far side table 10 so as not to hear her and ordered food. The food was wonderful and the lady we spoke to who I think was the manager was very lovely. Apart from this Fowled mouth woman and her friends this is a really nice place shame about them but will return maybe manager needs to speak to them If regulars not to use this language other than that beautiful pub and staff

Staff were lovely and food was quite nice but nothing special. Unfortunately there were 6 dishes the four of us tried to order not available from the menu! I thought this was very poor. Would have been helpful to actually put a sticker over the unavailable dishes which would have saved us all having to re-choose!! Afraid I won't be returning anytime soon.

Gorgeous food at a great price, especially if you go at lunch time, they have a 3 course menu for a very good price, just brilliant. The staff are super nice and I can only say they offer American style customer service! Awesome.

Visited here so many times across the years and it's always been a great place for food to go too, or even just a quick drink to meet friends or family. The most recent visit was today where we had the bottomless brunch which was yummy. And also a previous visit a couple of weeks ago I chose the seabass option which I've added a photo too. There's a lot of choices of food to suit everyone's diets as well as a kid's menu.There is a pub quiz on a Thursday that I've been to on and off which is always great fun. Even managed to come 2nd one time!
