The Dining Room at Washingborough Hall Country Hotel in North Kesteven

We have just had a family wedding at the hotel. The staff were great , helping with any request that we had. The wedding breakfast was excellent and the food was piping hot. The grounds are beautiful so plenty of photos taken. Good comfy bed and a good breakfast. Thank you 😊

EV and dog friendly little peace of tranquility.From the moment we arrived a sense of calm descended, beautiful grounds, impressive house and driveway, friendly staff guided us to the AC car charging plug (7kw chargers on their to do list).Charging socket literally by the car so no extension lead needed.Dog friendly room is modern and comfortable heating that actually works. We had a private courtyard for Cracker🐕 which helped us cool down too.Lovely hot, powerful shower and exquisite food.Got to say for our first visit this is now our 2nd, maybe favourite hotel. Just 20 rooms it still feels like a home not a hotel and the team are all very friendly and helpful.You can tell a quality establishment when they bring your dog a water bowl and treats without asking.

Lovely welcoming hotel very close to Lincoln but in most attractive garden. Superb dinner and breakfast with delicious homemade bread and rôsti at breakfast. Will definitely be back

Me and my husband got married here and the whole experience was just utterly perfect.Lucy and her team made us feel at ease and looked after us from start to finish! The hall is just decorated so beautifully and the upkeep of the gardens. Wow! I couldn't recommend them more if I tried.I cannot thank the team enough ❤

The wedding venue of our dreams. From the moment we set our eyes on Washingborough Hall we dreamt of the day we would get married there. Throughout the whole wedding planning process Lucy was there to answer any questions. Myself and my wife met with Lucy on multiple occasions to talk about our wedding and it never felt like we were asking for too much. On the day Lucy was there to greet myself and point me in the right direction for everything. Lucy and her team help us put together the most amazing wedding and for that I could not be more thankful. The team at Washingborough Hall went above and beyond on the wedding day: setting our tables and decorating them; ensuring all candles were lit at all times; putting the finishing touches on our homemade cake and waiting on us all hand and foot. Nothing was too much for them to do. The rooms were immaculate and exquisite and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and their stay. All in all Washingborough Hall is the best wedding venue in Lincolnshire in our opinion and Lucy has the most amazing team under her.

Stayed 2 nights for my son's wedding. I cannot fault the experience. The organisation, care and attention, food and hospitality were all first class. The family dogs came to and were made most welcome.

Our stay at the Washingborough Hall for our wedding was perfect. The meals were very nice, lots to choose from drinks selection, and our family and friends loved the ambient and calm atmosphere from the historic building.Everything was taken care of, even down to the minute details. The staffs were very friendly and professional, and the service quality was top-notch.The room we stayed in was clean, sanitised, and had beautiful views.

Went here for a wedding. Lovely building nicely decorated inside. Limited parking which is a pain for a big wedding. Lovely church right next door. Surprised that the groom had to check out of his room before the 1 o'clock wedding and was not given somewhere to get ready .... he ended up getting changed in a corridor!!! Reception room is quite small and is an L shape meaning you can"t see everyone and some people felt a bit "cut off". The food was lovely both for the day and evening receptions.We'd highly recommend staying in the Little Redlands b&b in Lincoln which is an easy 15 minutes drive away .... it's fabulous, a real treat!!!

We were there for a wedding. The Hall was well decorated, warm, well organised, food was very good quality and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly, helpful and well organised. Our room was great well equiped, warm with a lovely roll top bath.

Great clean well maintained hotel with a unique style. I went with a group of 6 friends and we had three double rooms between us. I was room 11 downstairs which had a small outdoor gravel patio area with a table and two chairs accessed via french doors from the bedroom and perfect for a bit of stargazing 🌟 the bedroom was a decent enough size and so was the bathroom with a lovely walk in shower. My only criticism in the bedroom was the poor quality pillows and duvet. Other than that it was clean and functional offering a calm relaxing space. The hotel has a small bar for guests with two comfortable lounge areas as well as additional seating in the main entrance lobby in front of a log burner. We checked in at tea time which was a pleasant and easy experience - the staff were attentive and friendly. We went into Lincoln for an evening meal and returned to the hotel at approx 10.15pm and all agreed that we sit together in the bar and have a game of cards.Unfortunately the bar stop serving at 11 and we were asked to relocate into the main entrance lobby to continue our game of cards as they also close & lock the 2 seating lounges even to guests? I asked one of the ladies on reception why this was? It's because there are no staff working on the premises throughout the night - they all leave site at 11 until breakfast the next day which I just thought was a bit strange?We were perfectly fine but the hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere and usually a hotel has at least one security guard or night porter or 1 person that works through the night? There are no amenities close to the hotel or within walking distance like a shop or a pub. Personally I think closing the Bar area at 11 with no alternative for guests eg room service or a mini bar etc let's it down alot. I don't know about anyone reading this but when I stay in a hotel it's because I'm on a holiday or short break and therefore i want to relax, socialise and enjoy myself. Unfortunately if you want to do that here it has to be done before 11pm. On a positive the staff were absolutely fantastic and the lady that moved us into the lobby area couldn't do enough for us before she left for the evening - thank you 😁
