The Kings Head in North Kesteven

What beautiful service and food.I would definitely recommend the Kings Head. A lovely restaurant and a traditional bar. The portions are great and the prices are really good. Polite clean and efficient.Thank you for a lovely meal.

A lovely old building, where we have eaten many times. We have taken friends and family and always had a superb meal.On 18th of this month we decided to go for our Wedding Annversary.We ordered prawn curry, which seemed to resemble a bowl of soup , with the occasional prawn floating , topped with rice. There was NO taste to any of this meal.Dismayed! What has happened to our favourite restaurant?Pam

Our favourite pub! We have been going usually at lunchtime for many, many years, staff are lovely and the food is delicious.

The food was absolutely amazing we really enjoyed our steak in a group setting, and usually the staff are extremely friendly however was extremely disappointed with the service of the bar lady who was rude to us and condescending, it made us very uncomfortable. however cannot fault the food as it was delicious and cooked to perfection.

We attended our sisters 80th birthday on the 20th February there were 11 of us. The meal was absolutely lovely. Everything was perfect from the room we were in the bar staff and the waiting on staff. Atmosphere was great as well. Nothing was to much trouble.I will definitely recommend.

Lunch after a long walk. Really good service and a good selection of food. I had a big slice of steak pie with homemade chips and peas and a jug of gravy. Really nice and well priced. Everyone else in our group of 6 had a similarly good experience. 👍

Had a table of 8 to celebrate my 60th birthday last night (02/10/21). From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. All of the staff were attentive, polite and courteous - nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the portions very generous so make sure you're hungry before you go there! I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant/pub.

Back to the King's Head after a long lockdown. So Glad it has reopened for food again. Slightly reduced menu, but the old favourites were there. We had the Belly Pork and Rump Steak - both were cooked to perfection and with the usual accompaniments. Puddings were the Sherry Trifle and Bakewell Tart and custard. Service with a smile (I'm sure under the masks somewhere)

Booked as a group for lunch and were happy to accommodate a couple of extra. Food was quick, but we ordered a majority in advance. Bacon and brie was bigger than I thought it would be. Tasted nice as the bacon was good bacon. It came to £9.95, not included with the drink.
