The Royal Oak, Scopwick in North Kesteven

Went for a quick off the cuff sunny afternoon beer , for a pint of Guinness & peroni, couldn't believe the price at £9.20 for these drinks, as lovely as the setting is and please judge for yourselves as we have never eaten here but remember the beck is free it runs through the village , the sunshine was free , you don't expect to pay these prices for an average pint in your local area we are not London.We love to support our local pubs and for them to be open but there is an acceptable balance and I'm afraid this is tipped against the customer .Unfortunately there is no wonder people are buying from supermarkets , we know pubs cannot do those prices but pubs around here are at least £1.50 cheaper a roundNot a bad spot but plenty more that are better 🙂

Fantastic Greek food, lovely relaxing atmosphere. Service was perfect, helpful and thoughtful. No rush, nice rest in-between courses. Everything perfect

First time and won't be the last, service is welcoming and friendly amd the food is delicious. It has plenty of Greek dishes including best ever kebabs and also some pub classics like Sausage and Mash. Would highly recommend the puddings too! Mmmm! The outside seats are lovely on a sunny day as they overlook the crystal clear water in the beck. 5 🌟

Friendly pub, good beer and great food topped off with live music. We were made to feel at home and had a fabulous evening!

My mother was meeting my girlfriend for the first time, so wanted to treat us here. The Greek food was amazing and the service spot on. We will be back again soon.

Had an absolutely fantastic Christmas meal here today (19.12.21) with my family celebrating my dad’s birthday. Excellent food, service and surroundings. The waitresses couldn’t do enough for us and the food was top notch. Two children in our party well catered for and service was so quick. Would highly recommend this lovely village pub for friendly surroundings and excellent food.

Just been for a 3 course Christmas family lunch. We pre ordered as I’m gluten free, lots of gf choice and it was lovely. Nice sized portions (if anything the main course was too much) and friendly, helpful staff with smiles all round. Great job thank you 👍👍

Eaten at the Royal Oak a few times throughout its different owners, but this is by far the best it has been. Chose 3 courses from the Greek menu, the food was fantastic. If was cooked so well, wasn't oily at all and the taste was amazing. Couldn't fault the service either. A faultless evening from the minute we walked through the door, thank you we will be back.
