Lovely pub nice food and staff

Called in at the Tempest Arms for lunch and opted for the haddock and chips. Well what a treat, huge fish cooked to perfection, crispy batter and thick meaty succulent white fish. As for the chips, wonderful, crispy and not oily, just like my mum used to make. Add the good portion of mushies and the pot of homemade tartar sauce, washed down with a pint of local golden ale, just about perfect.

This pub is truly brilliant. The owner is wonderful and so so friendly. It is well priced and incredibly dog friendly. I cannot rate this gorgeous pub highly enough.

Only popped in for a quick lemonade but what a quaint little hidden bombshell of a boozer, no frills wholesomeness and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were efficient, lovely and welcoming. Fantastic spot.

Had the prime steak burger and for all of around £13. Safe to say that my wife and i will be going back. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and decoration, good food and the views from the pub are very nice.
