Top Wok Take Away in North Kesteven

Ordered shredded beef in chili and there was no visible beef in the batter. They said it was because it was shredded then battered but 💯 could not find the beef in the batter. It was terrible. The chicken fried rice wasn’t bad but would not order from here again.

Too much MSG used in the food, very bland, and no two items taste the same when you purchase them again

Great food, I've eaten here so many times, never once had any problems. Tried other Chinese takeaways in the area and this is the best by far.

Never again. Having moved into the area I decided to ignore reviews on here and give this place a try. After phoning the order in just 15mins after they opened I was told it would be a 45min wait, I thought if they that busy it's a good sign, How wrong I was, my s&s king prawn Cantonese was anything but as it had a distinct orange sherbet flavour about it and the king prawn in sambal sauce (claimed to be hot) was bland. The fried rice was the best but then still only mediocre. Was it worth the wait NO, will I be waiting again in the future ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Tasty food, I would have given a top review however last time we had sweet and sour sauce it tasted like orange. Overall food nice and good value

Family had a meal last night. While everyone else had no issues, my meal of Singapore rice and s&s chicken was very poor. S&s sauce very vinegary chicken balls over cooked or remove cooked. Worst of all within 30 mins of eating it was on the loo and have been most of the night. Place to avoid

The food was awful, crispy beef - soft, curry - cardboard flavoured, chips-dreadful, egg fried rice - tasteless, beef chow mien - dog food!!! Vile!! I will never go back!! Barely any eaten

Not so good, just moved to metheringham and thought we would give the local Chinese a go. We had the sweet and pork balls the sauce was cheap and we couldn't eat unfortunately this was after we poured over the egg fried rice. We also had the special chow mein which had zero meat just prawns. It certainly wasn't very special.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but food is appalling, Hong Kong style chicken was stodgy and resembles doughnuts, sweet and sour sauce was just that, no vegetables and too vinegar heavy. Szechuan sauce utterly flavourless and gloopy with too much starch. Prawn crackers yellowish and overly fatty and chips were bland and greasy. "Fried" rice tasted like microwave rice with added margarine. Never again.
