Stayed here for the wk end. Staff amazing food is great. Cabins and hot tubs spot on. Nothing is too much for Gary and his staff. Will definitely be coming back again

Not open and grubby looking

Internet search said it was open. It wasn't.Had a look for an open door but only managed to hear a blazing row from upstairs.No lights on signs or anything to indicate this is open.A week later we passed again on a Friday around 7pm. No lights, nothing. Unless we couldn't find the unlit secret entrance it's closed.

Food was nice, staff were nice 😀

Friendly staff. Good range of drinks. Really good menu. Very friendly locals. Friday is Karaoke night. Well worth a visit situated on the bank of the river Witham.

This is one of the friendliest bars I've been in for a long time. I edited this post because my last post I tried to put on was for when a older landlord owned the pub and it wasn't that good. Now it's under new management with friendly staff and great food it's very welcoming and I'd rather go there than my own local. This is my local now as I wouldn't imagine not going there.

Fantastic food great atmosphere a very welcoming place to visit. Really recommend the sirloin steak. Well worth the long drive down the country lane.
