Came here with 2 mates for dinner, was quite busy and there was only one waitress yet excellent service would be an understatement. was greeted with smiles by all staff and food was delicious, all ate until we were completely full. never had to wait long for food, brilliant portion sizes. would highly recommend to anybody in the area, will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my food and the staff were great, my only issue really was that I was offered a swig of the craft pink lemonade and then when I ordered it, I was given a different lemonade, still crafted and good quality, but not what I wanted.

Visited this afternoon, considering there were around 7 customers including myself and two others’ we waited for 30 minutes for our starters which only consisted of olives and garlic bread. Did have to ask about the starters as we were very hungry! Furthermore, 15 minutes later the mains came which was two pizzas and a calzone. The crusts of the pizzas were burnt impossible to cut. The food was not adequate and the service was not great. The table where we sat the floor was covered with crumbs and previous customers leftovers. Did pay the full amount and didn’t want to bring the leftovers as it was burnt. Do not recommend and will not be returning.

Delicious food and fab cocktails. Staff were attentive and friendly as always, nothing is ever too much trouble, which is why we will continue to go back. Definitely worthy of 5*.

Great pizza, coffee and cake and a fantastic Ale. Really good service.A nice sized and cozy restaurant in the centre of Ashby.Plenty of parking in and around the centre close to the restaurant.A good selection of food from the menu.A great meal out.

Food was okay , majority of our party had pizza and they said it was good. I had the pasta and it wasn't nor were the mushrooms for starter, very bland, and pasta had all stuck together in a clump , service was very slow and we had to ask for drinks. Also if you like a quiet restaurant this isn't it. Overall for the price it wasn't worth it. Oh and the cocktails are in the smallest cocktail glass I have ever seen!

Run- don’t waste you’re money! We had reservations and had to practically CHASE them to take our order 25 min from sitting down! Then got our identical pasta dishes maybe 15 minutes later- like how does anyone actually make something that fast- forgot our drinks - had to chase that up- sat there for another 30 minutes- drinks empty - had to chase the bill- like come on guys - it wasn’t even that busy- real waste of time - I could have cooked this better - 👎

Won't go back again. The pasta was cold and the wait was longer than usual. Waited over 25 minutes just to place an order and had a hard time even getting staff to our table. Was thinking of just walking out after about 30 minutes of no attention until someone came to take our order. Then after another 20 minutes the food came but not very hot except the chips. Not very impressed with the food quality either as the pasta was undercooked and cold and the cod was swimming in water with the roasted potatoes soaking up the fish water. The staff seemed rushed off their feet while deliveroo was in and out of the restaurant every few minutes. It looked like people who ordered out fast food had better service than those who took the time to come out and dine in. Staff struggled to serve and clear tables at the same time and we were surrounded in the end with dirty tables. Strangely we were not even asked if we wanted any drinks or desert. The worst experience for dining in so far. Waste of money and time.

Absolutely perfect experience. Booked online, mentioned we were Vegans, when we arrived shown the Vegan menu straight away, complimentary drink while choosing dishes. We mixed and matched a bit with starters and main courses and nothing was too much trouble. Our waitress was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you so much. The bill was lower than we expected. Perfect.

By far my worst dining and service experience from Ask. It’s usually reliable. 6.30 reservation. Ordered starters and drinks with the qr code and all was good. Then ordered mains before any rush. Was asked if we would like them all together ✅ and then we waited and waited. No updates from the kitchen. Poor excuse from a server. Nobody followed up to see how it was. Yet I saw delivery bags being filled. Just a shame.
