Our first visit will not be the last, cheerful welcome from the staff. Very good menu, we chose the steak deal with a free bottle of wine. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare with that grilled taste, excellent.

Excellent mains and desserts. The sea bass would probably be a very good choice if you want a very good fish main.Early evening tables mostly in use and this venue is clearly popular. Service was very good too. Elderly relative said she wasn't keen on the music. Light rock ballads which I myself found fine.

I have lived in England for 12 last and today's meal was the worst experience so far. I was planning to have a nice Sunday and a good meal with my wife and child. Instead I received a ruined day and I was insulted by the staff. Just because I come from Poland does not mean I can be treated worse and discriminated in any way. Customer service at an impossibly low level. The meal itself was tasty but I will never go there again.

I came here today for the first time on a whim with a friend, and we had an absolutely brilliant meal!I opted for the Lunch menu, and had 3 courses at £13.00 which was excellent value for money. This is available Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm. I ordered the chicken strips, Yorkshire pudding wrap with beef, and the lemon meringue pie. All of the portions were absolutely huge, and the food was extremely tasty. My friend opted for the 12oz Ribeye with stilton sauce, which she says was also excellent. Needless to say we both left absolutely stuffed and satisfied.There are a good selection of draught lagers and ciders, as well as bottled varieties and spirits. We went for the Inch's cider and the Strongbow Cloudy Apple cider- which went down a treat with our meal.The staff were extremely welcoming, and the ladies who attended to our table this afternoon were extremely friendly and efficient. They really seem to have nailed the customer service aspect of the job.The pub itself is beautiful, with ample car parking & the interior has a warm and cosy feel. We felt incredibly relaxed. The bathrooms are also extremely clean, and the pub is evidently family friendly with a large play area for children.5* from me. I will definitely be returning.

Last weekend we celebrated a birthday within the family . First time I had been in along time,will definitely be going back a lot sooner. Great meals, all came out on time with 20 of us,. The lovely staff were really helpful and friendly definitely worth the 5 stars given.

A warm and comfortable atmosphere friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and the menu wide ranging. A good outside area for Al fresco dining or just having a drink with friends and family

Plenty of parking and access for people with a disability including the loo. The bar area is dog friendly which is deal if you walk in the area. The menu is extensive and would suite all tastes and price ranges. The over 60s menu is particularly good value. On Friday lunch time the restaurant was busy and the service was a little slow. The staff however did apologise for the delay and they were also polite, obliging and respectful. Would eat there again as I like what's on offer on the menu.

Booked the bubble outside here twice now and its amazing! Food is great and staff are friendly.

Taken over not long before covid hit. Used to be a real drinkers pub. Has become more modern, serving a range of food now as well. Ordering through the app is simple. Garden is large and great for children, there were 2 bouncy castles when I visited
