Not hygienic be surprised if they have a good score on hygiene certificate. Found hair in food and seriously too much salt which means food ingredients are old, nothing fresh at this place

Not bad TBF, cheap and cheerful chicken shop. It's exactly what you'd expect.

Honestly, very very greasy, its exactly the same pizzas that coalville grill produce, I can only assume the majority of it is frozen and slapped in a pizza oven.Even the chips tasted like coalville grill chips, which again I can only assume are purchased in mass quantities.. frozen, as they certainly taste it.If your going to call yourself a pizza and chicken shop, then you need to stand out for something, as its clearly not the pizzas.Very very disappointed! I will never be buying from this place.

The chicken is one of best ive had fresh thick strips and chips here is amazing is what i alway have 10 outa 10 on everything no joke service quality of food and always spotless.

i've been using Chookys for as long as i can remember ordering most weeks, i ordered from here last night and was completely unsatisfied with what came, both my chicken burgers came with no coating or seasoning and tasteless also the bottom of the buns was soggy, so both went to the dog. i tried to ring them to complain but phone just rang out, so left them a message on Facebook to get back to me regarding my order and still not heard from them hence the review, its highly unlikely ill be ordering from hear again any time soon if they dont have time for their customers

Ordered a munch box and a can of coke. To be delivered a can of 7up covered in a split pot of garlic Mayo Called restaurant to be told to wash it off it’ll be fine, did so and now sat in hospital with my partner who’s had a severe allergic reaction to the garlic. Would of been a 5 star review if she would of gone on her own but now I’m sat in a car park with nothing to do but write about my experience. Please some advise people to wash off foods they are allergic too.

The chicken burger comes pink.... definitely like my chicken cooked longer...pizza same story.. base of pizza is mushy like its not cooked properly .. Will definitely 💯never eat here again.

Used to enjoy the food here a few years ago but took a break from fast food. Decided to give it another try last night so I checked the closing times and saw it said midnight so I didn’t think it would be a problem ordering at 9:30 pm and if it was then they could just simply cancel the order... right? Wrong.Food arrives at the time it said it would and the driver (one of the owners I believe.) gives me my food and I was feeling generous so handed him a £2.50 tip.That’s when he started giving me lectures on not ordering food this late again or at least ordering over £30 instead of £12 next time because “it’s just not fair” coming all the way from coalville to Ibstock.You don’t need to worry about me ordering late again because you’ve lost a customer. Also, the food didn’t taste the best either last night but I feel that’s because of the sour taste left in my mouth by the comments. Merry Christmas.If you are an owner of Chookys how about you update the delivery charge, cancel the order or update the minimum order requirement instead of making your customers feel guilty.

This shop does the best ever chicken. Lovely and juicy, cooked to perfection. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Chookys by far out ranks the more well known fried chicken shops. The staff are lovely and the shop is clean. Prices are great. Keep up the good work guys. I look forward to my next chicken and fries meal.

2x different meals one donner meat was over cooked and hard, un cooked chips the wrap that it was put in was dripping with oil. The second meal chicken strips meat was under cooked and again chips were undercooked. All in all a very bad experence then to top it off rang them again to explain what the problem was and got told noone else had a problem so there was nothing they can do about it in a very rude mannor then to top it off they put the phone down on me HOW RUDE CAN YOU GET I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
