Frankie and Benny's in North West Leicestershire

20 deep at the bar. Clueless staff and management. Terrible wine at £9 a glass.

Poor. 45 minute queue because they have no staff, No cocktails , Limited menu . Very disorganised

Food was fine service terrible too few staff, asked for bill waited 30 min then went to bar and queued for 20 min told bar staff had been waiting , no apology. Saw other people walk out as no one came to take order,

Walked out after 25 mins sat and no one taking our order along with countless other people. Plenty of staff there but awful customer service. Watched to waitresses put their arms up when people walked out but didn’t stop them walking about chatting and not doing anything. Went upstairs to castle rock for breakfast was acknowledged after a couple of minutes.

No coffee, egg shell in the eggs and ordered banana porridge and got berries. Expensive restaurant with substandard food.

So we are at the airport,believe it or not 40 minute wait for food orders 15 people in the place. Absolutely shocking, bar staff doing the best they can

Scrambled eggs on toast, perhaps 2 very small eggs at the most and the bread must've just missed the toaster, also think their must be a margarine shortage or it was just forgotten that bread (toast) is fairly dry without it. Nice pint of corona though :)

Not a bad place to eat. Service takes a little while (understandably) otherwise all good.

Terrible service, stressed staff and mediocre to bad food at best. I've just flown through EMA airport and mistakingly sat down for a small breakfast before flying. My eggs were barely cooked, oil was on the plate, so much sauce it may as well have been soup. In addition I ordered a flat white and received a coffee with milk. Considering the prices, this was a terrible choice. Definitely would not recommend.

As a regular flyer for business, I know good airport restaurant service. I don't tend to use East Midlands as it's more holiday based but we're on holiday and... this isn't good service. From the sour-faced girl seating you who clearly wanted to be elsewhere, to the manager walking round whose customer service skills are appalling this isn't somewhere I'd use again.When you compare this Frankie's to that at Gatwick it's night and day. We had to ask to order, it still then took a few minutes and when the server came he was both taking our order and taking the table next to us' payment! Literally turning from us to them repeatedly and not engaging with either of us.It's a good job this isn't an airport I use for my business flights, as I won't come here again. Avoid if you can!
