Went with my niece Alysha for her birthday, 10 of us. Very warm friendly welcome. Lots of variety on the menu (and nothing missing as is often the case these days). Excellent service with a smile and good humour. Enjoyed the food and the whole experience. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Absolutely fantastic place, staff were so welcoming and the food tasted outstanding. Could tell everything was cooked fresh then and there, will be back!

Overcharged our group by at least £20, when quizzed he got aggressive and would not provide a itemised receipt, which is against trading standards rules. Very rude and obviously not putting cash through the till and dodging tax.Food was also mediocre, full of oil. AVOID.

Bee for a visit to this place and I loved it. The guy who runs it gives you a little hug and is super friendly. The staff really make you feel welcome! We both had a biryani for mains and it was simply wonderful. The vegetable curry sauce which I normally hate actually had flavour and really finished it off nicely. We had a meat samosa each too - not greasy at all, really flavoursome.Obviously the pickle tray is standard and the sauces were full. No scrimping here.We didn’t book, just rocked up and they got a table sorted for us despite it being very busy with the super bikes event going on.Would defo go back and this is my husbands second time!

This is our go-to Indian restaurant in Donington. The food is really good and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. We regularly have takeaways from here and often eat in too. Recommended

Took friends from work as I've been before but they hadn't. 3 of said it was the best curry they'd had, the rest said one of the best they'd had.Absolutely delicious and the service is always excellent, attentive, and friendly.

Really interesting menu with some dishes that are a welcome change to the normal run of the mill curries that you can get in every Indian restaurant.I had the Coconut mixed tandoori. Although that sounds as though it is going to be sweet with no heat, that wasn't the case. This dish balanced all of the elements to make it thouroughly delicuous.I accompanied it with the biggest, fluffiest naan that you have ever seen. The portion sizes were bery generous (a doggy bag was needed for mine). The staff were charming and efficient. They were well drilled and doing what they needed to do at all times. We arrived at a time when the restaurant was very busy, but were seated in very quick time.I cannot fault the service or the food and my dinner companions all felt the same.I will definitely be back!

Ghandi is the centre of the universe. Who cares what the food is like? Ghandi himself is reason enough to come here. The answer, as it happens, is that the food is excellent; every time. But if you've not met the main man, you've not lived. His son Mo, is a quieter version, but just as fabulous. Tops. All around.

Lunch on Christmas day, very welcoming, lovely restaurant. Fixed price menu....order whatever you want, mixed kebab starter on the house then just go for it. Service, presentation and taste first class. Drinks are reasonably priced and the waiting staff very attentive....one of the very best Bangladeshi restaurants I have ever been to, will go again.
