The pub has a great, family, friendly atmosphere about it. The food presentation is great and reasonably priced. The pub has some of the best entertainers/vocalists in Leicestershire (and all for free to watch/listen).Definitely a place to try. 110%

Absolutely amazing bar staff nothing was too much, landlady was fantastic always around helping and making sure everyone was welcomed. Food was the best around. I went on my own and never felt so welcome in a pub as a single lady. Thank you so much

Booked in for two familes for sunday lunch, 4 adults and 5 kids, and wanted to watch the Rugby too. They couldnt have been more welcoming, put us right next to the tv which was great and the food and service were really good too, would definately recommend.

Had our village Christmas Dinner here on Thursday night. Staff and Land lady were brilliant. Warm and thoughtful. Meal was also excellent, starter, main course and dessert. Very friendly pub and great atmosphere. We will come again. Thank you.

Visited this pub as part of a group of walkers. They allowed us to meet and park up there, plus took our food orders in advance. After our walk we had a friendly welcome and they quickly got on with drinks and food. All the food arrived good and hot, and was enjoyed by all. As regulars to doing these sort of lunches we all felt that the food was great value. We will definitely use this pub again when walking in the area.

First time I visited as was on the way to the local music festival last weekend. Pub was quite busy but was kept very clean, all staff very friendly and wonderfully helpful. They serve quite traditional pub grub as I would call it. I had a baguette which was absolutely lovely. Great selection of gins too. I will definitely be back. We'll done keep up the hard work 😊❤️
