I popped in today and nothing was too much trouble, superb customer service.I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu at all and it was freshly made for me to take away and I have just enjoyed the most delicious lunch, thank you very much.Highly recommend!

Excellent 👍👍 food varied menu great portions, staff great helpful and polite. Will be returning more people in Ashby should use Cafe's like this instead of the big chains.

A review of two halves. On our first visit pre the second lockdown we went in the afternoon for paninis, tea and coffee. We were very impressed, good portion size, plenty of filling and the drinks were spot on. Staff were lovely, the venue clean and tidy.Just visited for a breakfast. Staff still lovely, but the food we had was not so good. The bread they use for the breakfast sandwiches (on white) is a thickly sliced tiger loaf. It was incredibly dry and springy, not at all pleasant to eat. The bacon and sausage were ok albeit a tad overcooked with fat left on the bacon. It was also expensive £5.65 for a double sausage and bacon sandwich. You can have three breakfast items on the sandwich for £4.95 so the extra 70p was for a sausage to make it a double double. When compared to Smithards (a nearby cob shop) the price is twice as much and nowhere near as good. The bread has got to be soft at the very least!

Probably one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had. They helped me out when my afternoon tea was cancelled last minute for a baby shower. Everyone commented how great the food was. Highly recommend.

Lovely friendly cafe.Staff are super and food is delicious. They also do an excellent soya cappuccino and the gluten free chocolate chip and lemon cakes were fresh, moist and yum!

I love this cafe. The food is good and they have plenty of gluten free options which I appreciate. The cooked breakfast is very tasty even the little biscuits with the coffee are gf. They always have a good selection of cakes which are definitely worth trying. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's always very clean.I highly recommend here for food or just a coffee and cake.

Lovely cafe and staff. Such a charming little place. Had lunch here with my partner and even though we stayed past closing (by mistake) there was no pressure on us to leave. Food was so very tasty, it’s amazing that something as simple as a toastie can be that good. The homemade cakes were so light and fluffy too!Mouthwatering food and brilliant service! Will be going again!
