The Beeches in North West Leicestershire

Second time going and another great experience! I had the carvery and they were super generous with the meat, the trimmings were lovely, gravy could have been a bit thicker but I'm being picky because the rest was absolutely spot on! Would highly recommend.

Went for lunch on Saturday 14-05-22 was impressed with the refurb. There was 5 of us and the staff were great, the meals were good but my wife said the cookie dough was very rich a d for someone who is sweet mad was surprised, she seemed to think taking the kinder egg out of it would be better.

Recently I came to check out the new refurb' , which looks great (I would say the toilets are still crying out for more of an upgrade rather than just another lick of paint).Service is great, speedy, friendly and adds to the ambiance. I came for a carvery and noticed the smaller plate size but the meat selection on offer was brilliant.The veg, however, could do with a little more attention. I can understand the pressure of a high-volume restaurant and can almost forgive the use of frozen peas, green beans, but I have to draw the line on deep-fried parsnips which tasted like the chip fat they'd obviously been cooked in. The roast potatoes too are obviously pre-prepared, which should otherwise be the highlight of a roast dinner, along with a top-notch meaty gravy. Instead, it was noticeably watery granules which could have easily been improved by incorporating all those meaty juices (or a robust stock).I think, giving yourselves more time to prepare and finesse the food would bring it up to the price you're charging for it.Finally, I love the wine selection, and can't really complain about the price given the margins, but if there was more of an incentive to buy the bottle for the table, I would have done.Again, really friendly service both front and back of house (menus could need a wipe down more frequently though, as you're so busy!). Hadn't been in here for years because last time I was underwhelmed by the experience.... this time however it was a whole new ball game! Food was good with lots of interesting choice and service was excellent. Overall experience so good that we will actually be booking for when friends come over from Birmingham.

Would of given more stars if it wasn't for the menu mix up .Before we came to the restaurant we looked at the menu on line to see what we wanted. We did this because we thought with it being a Sunday it would be easier with it being busy we told the waitress we had done this when we sat down. My husband ordered what he thought was the 13.95 8oz sirloin steak but turned out to be 17.95 . I ordered what I thought was 8.95 carvery but was 11.95 .We went back to look at the menu on line and after some time realized it was an old menu after we found new one .Surely it would make sense to take all old menus of your site as it is very misleading. The meals were very good but the menu mix up has left us feeling disappointed

This is my second visit for sunday carvery. The food was amazing on both occasions. Today our Waitress Amy stood out. She was very well organised, attended to her area with a smile and with perfect timings. Friendly and chatty. All the staff we encountered were great they all looked happy and the food was amazing at a good price. Will be back for more

Visited on Saturday evening. All the staff from the young lady on the phone to the guy who served our table were fantastic. Very friendly, very attentive and really efficient. I had a steak and my wife had a pizza. The food was 10/10 steak cooked to perfection. Pizza was really really tasty and again baked perfectly. For a last minute booked Saturday night dinner, we were really impressed. All the staff deserve to be recognised for doing a great job. We will definitely be returning. Thanks!!

A very pleasant experience. Nicely decorated, tables not too close. Staff extremely polite. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch chosen from a varied menu. Puddings were delicious so much choice it was hard to decide. Will definitely be returning.

Have visited The Beeches now a few times, hand on my heart I have to say they do the best Sunday Carvery you have ever tasted!.......period.Staff/Management cannot do enough for their customers and really go out the way. Having visited many Pubs over the years when I compare The Beeches to others nothing comes close. In fact it would be fair and honest for me to say if there was a rule book written on how to run a pub successfully it is the Management and staff here that should write it. Book a table you wont regret it.

I went to this pub to celebrate my anniversary with my family and some friends during a weekday. We had a lovely time and felt very welcomed by the whole team. The service was flawless, and food was very good. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Definitely, a place to go back many times.
