The Monkey Tree Gin Bar & Restaurant in North West Leicestershire

Lunch menu was okay, lots to choose from. Biscoff pancakes were delicious! Would definitely recommend. However, two of the desert orders came out incorrectly. Overall, experience was good, service a little slow but it was a Saturday lunch time.

Really friendly staff,good value for money. The Tapas was amazing. 1st visit and it didn't disapoint. Will visit again

Amazing restaurant, I've been here with friends, couples and just for drinks on my own the vibe is so chilled. Really friendly staff and the food is always amazing. Been to a couple of themed nights and live music night here and always a pleasure

A lovely evening meal, great service and atmosphere. We was a party of 14 people, everyone enjoyed their meal. Compliments to the chefs, highly recommended.

A very a immature service, with no modern recording equipment to make table service and management easier. Booked a table this evening for 8, heard rumours in the background that there were problems with table bookings. We waited until 20 minutes past when our table was booked to find they gave the table we reserved to someOne else ( who was a causal diner)! Walked out as I though this was disgraceful as there was no attempt to sort it out… won’t be going back here again!!!

I didn't eat here but we came to have a drink only.The selection of gins was great and the girl that served us was excellent. But this is no 'gon bar' to go and just drink, it is more so to drink whilst you eat. There is only one table for drinks and it is outside of the kitchen, toilets and back rooms. It felt like we were part of the staff room with the kitchen open and it wasn't a comfortable atmosphere for us.The restaurant area looked lovely though, but certainly don't come here for just drinks

A year ago, the food was nice but today I really didn’t enjoy it. Everything was way too salty and overly seasoned. The dessert was made with high quality ingredients but really nothing special. Nice service and interior. Not sure if I would go there again for food.

Visited on 21 July 2018 for lunch.charming place in little alley from main road.Lovely and tasty food with excellent price, fixed price lunch menu 1 course £6.95 2 course £9.95 or 3 course £11.95. Variety choices of drinks. If you live locally or passing by I would recommended.
