The Nag's Head Bar & Bistro in North West Leicestershire

Stopped off for a bite to eat after taking a walk around near airport. Lovely little place,friendly staff & dog friendly in the beer garden. The food was very nice. Would definitely recommend.

This bar & bistro is rum by my son Lee and daughter in law Cindy. I live in Swakopmund Namibia and came to visit for 3 weeks. As a family, we left UK in 1974 for Africa. Lee, Cindy and my grandchildren moved back to UK a couple of years back. I am imensly proud and happy that they are doing very well in their enterprise. The Nags Head is a great place with friendly staff whom I got to know and appreciate during my stay. Lee & Cindy are great hosts and reading the reviews, are much appreciated by the patrons. I may be slightly biased but would recommend a visit anytime. I'll be back in a couple of years and am sure it will belch more of the same.Big Thanks to Lee, Cindy and all the family for making my stay so enjoyable. Love to All.Ken.

Beautiful pub. Meals were delicious and presented so wonderfully. Lovely friendly staff. Really made us feel welcome, food is definitely worth the money. Will definitely be returning here for next download season and hopefully sooner.

Had steak and chips here. Price was reasonable, service was quick, polite and efficient. Car park is a bit tight and dumpy with tree roots but at least it's there. Inside was clean and nicely laid out.

Staying in Donington for the week and stumbled across here early on in my stay. What a little treasure of a place to find. All the staff were so polite and friendly. Being a female on her own, this meant a lot. On the first night, the food was so lovely and such good value for money, I returned for a second time and a third. Got talking to some of the locals and they seriously couldn’t have made me feel more welcome. If I loved here, would definitely make this my local. Will hopefully make a return visit sometime in the future

Popped in for a bite to eat. The South African sausage was amazing...and they let me add it to my mixed grill, perfectly cooked steak, polite staff, beer was on point! Look forward to popping in for the much talked about Sunday carvery :-)

Very helpful and friendly staff.I had the Gamon steak with eggs and it tasted delicious. Plus, the portion sizes are very generous so it definitely is good value for money.

Came to this pub for the first time and lovely friendly welcome at the bar. We were able to sit down for food without booking. Nice menu and nice food when it was served. Nice and spacious plenty of tables. Only one thing, food came out quite quickly from having the starter to the main. But all very nice and will go back again :-)

Quiet little place found while waiting for family to board a flight.Nice choice of food on the menu. Sweet potato fries were crispy and well cooked. Burgers were all tasty. Battered fish looked very dried out and not so appealing to eat.Pricier than expected for a pub. Nearly £90 for 5 to eat with soft drinks

Fabulous food, reasonable price, open window to chefs would definitely go again when in the area
