Lovely quaint village pub. A very warm welcome with fantastic service and exceptional food. Well worth a visit.

·

Very welcoming pub, with good pub grub and a fair selection of beers. Service can be a little challenging.

·

Traditional country pub that is perfect to visit on a summers day. There’s a lovely little beer garden round the back and the pub is dog friendly. Didn’t manage to grab any food on this occasion so can’t comment on this front but have visited in the past and the food was great if I recall correctly. Would wholly recommend.

Busy pub, first time here. Staff is friendly and the place welcoming. Didn't get to try the food, but they had a local burger business in, and they were great.

We had lunch here before going to East Midlands airport.Really good pub grub, very friendly service and a good selection of beer. In a nice quiet village and way better than airport grimness. Took 5 mins to drive and park up at airport from the pub.Wld deffo recommend

I called in last Tuesday with some friends and had fish and chips for £10.00 each. Lovely meal so went back today (Friday) and ordered the same meal. The price had gone up to £14.00 for the same meal. 40% increase in 3 days. How do they justify that?

Amazing steak dinner. Awesome service, food to die for. Highly recommended!

·

Very nice and cosy a pub with a traditional, warm interior. The owner and local people helpful and open hearted. We spend a pleasant time drinking whisky and talking. Gatto & Jan from Poland.

Fantastic friendly pub. Great selection of real beer and the owners are wonderfully welcoming. Great to see it sooooo busy tonight. #Diseworthlovesaquiz 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a long journey and we needed to stop for a rest and food before carrying on up the M1.We decided to miss the services and decided that a pub lunch would be what was needed so we found this pub not too far off the beaten track. We had a friendly greeting and we found a table in one of the rooms we then ordered roast lamb. And a drink we had a great roast dinner and sat and relaxed before rejoining the motorway refreshed and full. I can't recommend enough so much better than the hustle and bustle of a service station with fast food v homemade food and relaxing in peace and quiet in a village pub.
